The Griffin Inn is a privately-run hotel, restaurant and pub in St Helens, Merseyside. We cater for weddings, parties, functions, funerals and many other occasions. The Griffin has Sky Sports and ESPN which can be watched on several plasma TVs as well as a large screen TV. We also now offer free Wireless Internet Access. As Griffin Inn is a privately owned establishment, we can offer the business traveller a relaxed alternative to the corporate-style hotel, without compromising on the quality of service expected. Our General Manager Colin who spend Newly refurbished The Griffin Pub has been welcoming visitors since the 1600s, as it was originally a coaching house called The Magpie. The atmosphere in the pub is never less than friendly and welcoming. We serve a range of cask ales and have been recommended by CAMRA for the quality of our ales. The Griffin also offers regular entertainment, including a weekly quiz night with cash prizes and the chance of winning a three course meal for two in our Restaurant. We also have a full bar menu with a delicious selection to choose from The Griffin Inn has an excellent Restaurant which has gained a well-deserved reputation locally for the quality of its food, service and value for money. We have a weekly meal offer of three courses and a bottle of wine for just 39.00 in total, not per person. We also have a full A la Carte menu and a Bar Menu. We cater for special occasions and functions and have a full range of options for seasonal events, including Christmas, New Year, Valentines Day and more.
