Indian Pride Volume 6. Issue 15 December 11th, 2015 Minooka Intermediate School Newsletter Paying it Forward at MIS In the spirit of the holidays, we will be continuing our Pay it Forward program at Minooka Intermediate School. This program focuses on being kind to others in our every day lives. Our goal is for all students and staff to come together to make other people s lives better by bringing a smile to their face. This year for Pay it Forward we have already participated in Penny Wars in November where the proceeds went to the Mission Continues Fund. Last week we held a canned food drive where the food will be donated to local families. December 14-18th, we will have a Pay it Forward and Spirit week. During the week, students will be asked to participate in a Random Acts of Kindness checklist. On Thursday, December 17th, students are encouraged to donate a dollar in order to wear their favorite hat. All proceeds will go to a family in need in our district for the holidays.
