Our company s goal is to select the finest Bulgarian Wines from the best regions and producers and bring them to the world's wine consumers with stringent control from the vineyard, production to the country s wine shelves. We work closely with arguably the four best wineries in Bulgaria with a focus on the unique terriors of each region. Both the Bulgariana and the K Cellars brands were created as an expression of the finest modern day wine making techniques to bring wines of high quality and value to the consumer.
Why Bulgaria Located on the 42 nd parallel with the other great wine regions including Bordeaux, Rioja, Tuscany and Napa Valley. The Bulgariana wines have sold over 15,000 cases in the USA market over the past year. These wines have been featured by many preeminent retailers of fine wine in the US market such as Total Wine & More, Whole Foods and Costco as a featured brand in 17 states across the country.
Selecting the Best Wines The Thracian Plain is part of the great southern Bulgarian Thracian Valley wine region. It is well protected from cold winds to the north by the Balkan Mountains and further protected from the south central part of the Rhodopes. The finest Bordeaux varieties are selected from this region. The Danube River Plains, (Northern Region) has around 30% of the vineyards in the country near the mountains and river plains. These micro-climates are best for cooler climate grapes like Chardonnay & Pinot Noir.
