Beer tasting Can you really celebrate Christmas at The White Horse without a beer tasting? We have put together some great tasting sessions to make your experience that extra bit special. We have delved into our catacombs & trawled the globe to bring you what we think is the very best, not only in taste but to get an understanding of the category. Each tasting will consist of 4 different beers Choose from: Belgian 11 per person (minimum of six) selection of blondes, wits, Gueuze and lambics, fruits, Scotch ales, abbey and Trappist English 11 per person (minimum of six) selection of porters, stouts, bitters, IPAs, pale ales and barley wines American 11 per person (minimum of six) selection of APAs, IPAs, barrel aged beers, US pilsners + lagers and Belgian style brews Choose your own selection or let us give you a little guidance We re always happy to talk beer!

Christmas Functions Terms & Conditions Deposit All tables require a deposit of 10 per head to confirm the booking. This deposit is not an additional cost and will be redeemed against your final bill on the day. Deposits are non-refundable unless we are given 14 days notice of cancellation. Pre-order Food pre-orders will be required for all tables; this is to ensure that our high standards are maintained during this busy time. All food orders must be received in full a minimum of 10 days prior to your function date. To avoid confusion, please use the spreadsheet contained in this pack. All amendments to pre-orders must be made in writing. We are happy to cater for any specific dietary requirements, however please state these when booking. We reserve the right to request payment in full for food not cancelled in writing 5 days prior to your party date. We regret that unless pre-ordered, our wines are subject to availability. We therefore strongly recommend ordering in advance to avoid disappointment. Wine prices and vintages may vary between now and Christmas. It is not always possible to notify you of these changes; however we will endeavour to do so, and try to ensure that a close match is available in these circumstances. Table Tables will only be kept for open for 20 minutes after your booking time. If you anticipate a late arrival, please call ahead and let us know. Tables must be vacated promptly when your sitting is over; please advise guests of booking times in advance. Every effort will be made to seat your party together. On occasion, however, this may not be possible and multiple tables may be used. Bill/Minimum Spend One bill will be produced per table to the party organiser. A separate food and drinks bill may be provided if specified to your server before sitting but individual bills will not be available. All bills must be paid in full prior to or on the day of the booking. We regret we cannot invoice for payment after the event. All bills we be subject to a discretionary 10% service charge. The waiting and kitchen staff keep this in its entirety. Other During this very busy time of year, we emphasise that we cannot take responsibility for personal items brought onto the premises please look after your belongings. The White Horse staff reserve the right to refuse service to and/or eject any guests deemed to be too heavily under the influence of alcohol or behaving in an inappropriate manner.
