Welcome to the...aladdin / Park Tudor Catering Guide Thank you for considering Park Tudor for your wedding reception site. Park Tudor s food service is operated by Aladdin Food Management Services. Aladdin provides Park Tudor School with one of the finest school food service programs anywhere. In addition, Aladdin caters a variety of on-campus events. From corporate luncheons and holiday parties, to cocktail parties for special guests of the school, Aladdin does it all. Catering for wedding during the summer months, while school is out, has grown each year. This has happened by word of mouth only, as Aladdin does no outside advertising. Most of our present bookings come from guests of previous weddings needing a quality facility and food service program to cater to their own wedding needs. The reception hall, Clowes Commons, lends itself well to the total enjoyment of your wedding day. It s inviting, ski-lodge feel, can easily accommodate guests from 150 to 300 for a variety of well-adorned meals. For your convenience, we have prepared selected menus that are geared specifically for wedding receptions. We would, however, be more than happy to construct a one-of-a-kind menu for your special day. The following menus are priced to be all inclusive, for your convenience. All prices include: the food as per the selected menu, white table linen, white linen napkins, white skirting needed for all appropriate tables, all appropriate china, water goblets and cutlery needs, all clean up charges, and all labor charges, including the appropriate amount of service personnel. We will cut the cake for self-service at no extra cost. Coffee is available throughout the evening as a self-service item. Bar arrangements can be made separately by contacting MBP Catering at 317-636-4444. A $2 per person service charge is added to all banquets that require bar service. All room reservations are handled by Kim Allen at 317-415-2708. A signed contract and a deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking for all food service needs. ORDERING INFORMATION We suggest placing your order a minimum of seven business days (Monday - Friday) prior to the event to assure an appropriate lead time for ordering, preparing, and staffing. If you have needs that are outside of our ordering time frame, please give us a call at 317-415-2798. We continually strive to provide the best service and will accommodate special requests whenever possible. All prices and menu selections are subject to change without notice. CANCELLATIONS There is no charge for cancellations made 36 hours (Monday - Friday) before the event. Cancellations made fewer than 36 hours prior may incur partial charges. Cancellations made within 36 hours of the event will incur 100% of the charges. Food and non-alcoholic beverages must be provided by Aladdin Food Management Services, LLC at catered events, with the exception of wedding cakes, special mints and/ or other approved specialty items. Aladdin Food Management Services, LLC does not allow any leftover food items to be taken home. SECURITY AND LIABILITY Aladdin Food Management Services, LLC will not assume any responsibility for the damages to or loss of any merchandise or articles left at the function prior to, during, or following an event. If any valuable items are to be left in the banquet area, it is recommended that a security patrol be retained.
Event Checklist Choose the date, time, and location of the event. Check availability of desired locations and confirm reservations. Choose and reserve rain location if event is outdoors. Determine the food budget. Will the event be formal or informal? Determine what type of service best suits your needs (buffet, served, reception, picnic) Determine the guest list. Choose and order invitations. Address and mail invitations at least two weeks prior to the event. Are your guests familiar with the locations? Do you need maps? Choose color scheme. Make arrangements for decorations (flowers, candles, etc.). Will you need a podium or any audiovisual equipment? Will there be a head table? Number of guests? Table arrangements for other guests? Number of guests per table? Will you use place cards or reserved seating? Will you use name tags? Arrange for someone to prepare name tags or set place cards. Do you need a special table for awards or gifts? Where should it be located? Have you arranged for someone to greet the guests? How much time have you allowed for the meal? For the program? Do you plan to say a blessing? Have you asked someone to be responsible? Will the blessing be before or after the meal? Choose a menu two weeks in advance. Choose linen colors. Confirm table arrangements and final guest count with Catering Services three business days prior to the event. Who is financially responsible for the event?
