V2-2 Formal Bowtie Brown Pasta Sugarwith Ham Steak and awith Green Salad Baked withcauliflower, Beans Vinaigrette & Carrots (for(for 4) 2) 1 2 Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Wash the vegetables and then prepare cauliflower by cutting the florets off of the main stem, so they are similar but larger pieces. Discard any leaves as well as any brown spots you notice on the florets. Peel the carrot and slice into 1/2 inch slices. Cut washed beans into thirds and cut off stem end. 3 In a medium sauce pan and on high heat, add the chicken broth, cauliflower florets, carrot slices and cut beans. Cook with lid on until cauliflower and carrots are almost fork tender, still slightly firm. (about 12 minutes) 4 While waiting for the vegetables to cook mix together 1/8 cup bread crumbs, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder and 1/2 Tbs. Ranch powdered dressing. 5 Once the vegetables are al dente, drain the fluid from the pan. Add the vegetables to an 8x8 baking dish. Spread them out evenly. Drizzle 1 Tbs. olive oil over the vegetables. 6 Sprinkle bread crumb mix over the vegetables and top with 1/3 cup cheddar jack cheese. Put in oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. 7 Once the sugar and butter is melted and combined, return ham steak to skillet. Cook until heated through, turning often and coating with sugar and butter mixture. This should only take 1-2 minutes on each side. While the vegetables finish cooking, heat the ham steaks in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute on each side. Remove from pan and drain liquid. In same skillet, melt 2 Tbs. butter and 2 Tbs. brown sugar, stir. 8 Your meal should now be done. Remove vegetables from oven and ham from skillet and serve with bakery dinner rolls. Enjoy your Delicious Family Dinner!
