Reserving a Room for your Private Party Here at John D. McGurk s we have two areas that can accommodate large parties. From private to semi-private, John D. McGurk s provides a dynamic and lively pub atmosphere. Each area will be staffed appropriately for the size of your group. Rental fees will be due when making your reservation. These fees are refundable if cancellations are made one month prior to your event. Patriot Room Our inside dining room can accommodate parties up to 55 guests for a sit down dinner or up to 100 guests for appetizers and cocktails. This room includes a private bar, as well as a fireplace for enjoyment in the winter months. Guests are welcome to bring in centerpieces that we will put in place before your party begins. There is a minimum of 40 guests to rent this space. A rental fee of $500.00 is due when booking on the weekends. All Season Pavilion Semi Private Area: This space can accommodate up to 35 guests for a sit down dinner and up to 60 guests for an appetizer and cocktail party. There is a minimum of 30 guests to rent this space. A rental fee of $250.00 is due when booking on the weekends. This area has high-top tables which is something to take into consideration if you have children or adults that may find it difficult to sit in a high seat. Entire Pavilion: This space can accommodate 80 guests for a sit down dinner and up to 200 for appetizers and cocktails. There is a minimum of 65 guests to rent this space. A rental fee of $750.00 is due when booking on the weekends. Private luncheons may begin as early as 11:00am and run as late as 4:00pm. Private parties in the evening may begin as early as 5:00pm and run as late as 10:30pm
Menu Options Appetizer buffet When hosting a cocktail and appetizer party, John D. McGurk s offers an appetizer buffet. We ask that you choose four appetizers from the list below. These appetizers will be replenished for a two hour period, at the end of which, we will be happy to leave any remaining food for the duration of your party. The cost of the appetizer buffet is $14.95 per person. Please choose 4 of the following: Buffalo style chicken wings Spinach and Artichoke Ravioli Toasted Beef Ravioli Potato Skins Spinach Dip Crab Cakes Meatballs with House-made Marinara (give 24 hour notice) Italian Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms (give 24 hour notice) Bacon Wrapped Shrimp (add $2 per person) All items come with appropriate dipping sauces Vegetable tray $40.00 Feeds 25-50 people Seasonal fresh vegetables, ranch dipping sauce Fruit platter $75.00 Feeds 25-50 people Seasonal fresh fruit (24 hour notice) McGurk s House Salad $35.00 Feeds about 30 Sit-Down Dinners John D. McGurk s is proud to offer your large group the same attentive and professional service as well as the same quality meals from our menu that our guests enjoy in our main dining room. Custom menus are designed for each dinner party and are tailored to meet your needs. We will have you choose 3-4 items to be served as entrees. Your meal can be rounded out by adding appetizers, soups/salads or even dessert choices. The Sit-Down Dinner is $35 per person.
Dinner Buffet When hosting a dinner party, John D. McGurk s offers a dinner buffet. We ask that you choose two of the entrees listed below. These entrees will be replenished for a two hour period. Also included on the buffet is: McGurk s House Salad, Roasted New Potatoes, Sautéed Green Beans, Dinner Rolls and assorted cookies. The dinner buffet is $24.00 per person. Please choose 2 of the following entrees: Grilled Flank Steak Spinach Artichoke Chicken Breast Roasted Porkloin with Spiced Fruit Reduction Corned Beef Brisket Grilled Chicken Penne Pasta Luncheons John D. McGurk s offers two different options when hosting a luncheon for groups larger than 30 people. A custom menu option is available, tailored to meet your needs. We ask that you choose 5-7 items from our lunch menu. All items will be printed on a one page menu for your guests to order from during your event. We also offer a lunch buffet consisting of a choice of Turkey, Corned Beef or Ham dollar roll sandwiches, a choice of 2 appetizers-buffalo Style Chicken Wings, Potato Skins, Toasted Beef Ravioli or Spinach Artichoke Ravioli, McGurk s House Salad, and our House-Made Chips. The lunch buffet is $15.95 per person. Beverages While it is customary that we provide your guests with non-alcoholic drinks, the bar can be tailored to your needs. From cash bar to open bar, limited offerings such as beer and wines or specific tab amounts; there are many options to provide your guests with whatever you wish to drink. Open bar packages are listed below and are based on a two-hour time frame. Pricing is per person.
$18: Domestic bottled and draft beer, House wines and house liquors. Additional hour(s) can be added for a charge of $6 per person/per hour. $22: All beers, draft and bottled (domestic, craft and imported), house wines, call and premium brand liquors. Additional hour(s) can be added for a charge of $8 per person/per hour. *All open bar options exclude shots, red bull and super- premium brands. McGurk s uses a 20% gratuity for group of six or more anywhere in the restaurant. Cancellation Policy: McGurk s is happy to work with you in any way to make sure your occasion is celebrated just as you would like it. However, we do ask that cancellations are made one month prior to your event at which time we will refund you your rental fee. Schedule Changes: Changes can be made up to one week of your event; menu and bar selections, head count etc. Rental fees are not affected by schedule changes. Questions?
