To Our Customers Thank you to all of our customers and partners who are dedicated to restoring the natural environment! Whether you are working along streams, in wetlands, prairies, savannahs, or in the local urban areas (from bioswales to backyard habitats), we appreciate the work you do and are proud to provide you with top quality, locally-adapted native plants grown on our unique, small, family-owned farm. Purchasing high quality plants from Scholls Valley Native Nursery LLC s experienced staff supports our sustainable business concept of fair and equitable labor practices, natural and sustainable nursery environments, product diversity, and superior customer service. Over the past ten years, we have developed and successfully followed established protocols for producing well-balanced, healthy, and vigorous native plants, specifically cultivated and grown for rapid site establishment into your local wetland, riparian, and upland plant restoration projects. Our staff is trained and experienced in all areas of plant growth, from careful selection, collection, and processing of native seed through to final delivery of over 135 different species of native plants to our customers. WE love to know the plants we grow will restore the land elsewhere. producing Salmon-Safe Certified native plants on our sustainable and diverse farm, protecting fish and wildlife where we grow them. At any time of the year, a wide variety of insects, bees, birds, fish, frogs, and wildlife inhabit our own seed production blocks, nursery beds, and wetland, where they find healthy shelter and forage. As part of our sustainable business model, we partnered with Clean Water Services and Oregon Dept. of State Lands, to restore 25 acres of our farm to a natural wetland. This involved re-meandering a channelized ditch to a natural stream, replacing a culvert with a bridge to provide salmon passage, and replanting the wetland with native plants. This restored area is beautiful and we are very happy to say the local community has embraced this project and it is a source of community pride. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or special needs you may have for your projects. We are committed to working with each of our customers to create a better world for us, for our children, and for future generations. We look forward to hearing from you!
