1. Payment for Deck and Meeting Rooms is due with return of your signed contract. 2. Payment for all food services is to be made 14 days prior to your event. You will be charged for the number of people that you guarantee. The only exception to this rule would be for groups that are paying by individual check; a valid credit card would need to be placed on file in this case. 3. Any remaining balance is to be paid the day of your event. 4. In the event that you need to cancel your function you must do so within thirty days of the scheduled date in order to avoid penalty. 5. We will be glad to order any special types of beer or wine for you as long as we can get it from one of our vendors. Any request for special orders must be made within thirty days of your event. All special order alcohol must be paid for at the time of order. 6. DeSoto State Park Lodge is the sole provider for all food and beverages for all events. With the exception of your wedding cake and groom's cake we do not permit our guests to bring any food or beverage into the meeting or banquet rooms. Management reserves the right to remove food or beverages brought in to the lodge or onto the deck. 7. If you would like to bring in your own serving utensils you may do so; however, they must be sanitized using our dishroom. Please have these utensils to us at least an hour before your event. 8. For all wedding and events you may begin setting up at 10:30 am. All events should be concluded and all decorations removed no later that 10:00 pm. We may be able to let you start decorating earlier provided that you understand that our staff may still be working to get the room ready for your function. 9. No open flames are allowed - all candles must be enclosed (votive, hurricane lamp, etc), and protected at the base to keep from dripping. No double sided tape, nails, or anything that would leave evidence that it was there. Anything you use to decorate must be removed by 10 pm on the day of the event. Absolutely no fireworks or sparklers are allowed anywhere on park property. 10. If you would like for the tables in the meeting rooms to be re-arranged we will be glad to take care of that for you provided we are notified as least 24 hours prior to your event. I have reviewed my sales contract and confirm that everything is correct. I have also read and understand all of the above guidelines. I understand that if any changes need to be made that I am responsible for notifying the DeSoto State Park Lodge Sales Coordinator in advance.
