Asparagus Supply is slowly decreasing due to some rains up north causing the price to increase. All sizes available and white asparagus is also consistently available. Avocado Volumes are slightly below normal as Mexico begins to slow down. California and Peru are slightly higher offsetting the deficit in Mexico. Mexico s late season fruit quality is rough. Bananas Volumes are expected to take a step back with growing demands across the globe and crops will tighten for next few months. Prices are expected to remain stable Broccoli, Cauliflower, Broccolini Brussels Sprouts and Green Onions Broccoli - Supplies are picking back up and prices are coming down. Quality is good and expected to remain this way. Cauliflower-Good Color and quality as supply has picked up and prices are decreasing! Warmer weather through out the weekend is expecting product to remain in good supply. Broccolini - Market is back to normal and prices are back to being stable. Brussels Sprouts- The market continues to increase due to the supply out of Mexico being extremely tight and limited supply is crossing. Prices are high on #1 and jumbo sizes. Green Onions - Prices are coming way off and supplies are increasing with good quality Berries Strawberries - Market has stabilized and quality is good. Prices remain stable are expected to stay this way for next few weeks. Raspberry - We are seeing some shortages in supply and prices is high. Quality is good. Blackberries - The demand is exceeding supply and should be for about the next week or so. Price is very high and expected to remain this way for another 1-2 weeks. Blueberries - Volume is up and quality is good. Prices remain stable and fruit is expected to stay consistent for next week Bell Peppers and Peppers Green Bell - Price has come down on the green bell peppers and supply has picked up. Expected to remain low for foreseeable future. Red Bell Product has become a little tight with increase prices. Product is expected to remain firm for next 2-4 weeks. Yellow Bell Pepper Quality is very nice and prices are stable as supplies increase. Carrots Quality is good and so is the supply Corn Yellow Corn - QUALITY IS GOOD AND IS IN FULL SWING White Corn- QUALITY IS GOOD AND IS IN FULL SWING

Citrus Limes - Bigger fruit continues to remain tight and we are having to grade fruit to obtain quality needed for shipping. This has caused a little tighter supplies on the 175-200ct (though this is improving) We expect to see prices alleviate more so over the next couple weeks. Please order larger fruit like 115-150 Lemon - This is a very active market. Prices are still higher than normal but quality is good. Imports have strated. Oranges - We are seeing shortage in supply and a higher market. This might become even shorter in supply and will probably last until the domestic Valencia market is in full swing.we are suggesting that you move to a larger fruit (smaller count size like a 72 or 56) Currently in an Act of God Clause is being used for smaller fruit and prices are expected to increase!! Eggs Product is back to normal supply and prices have stabilized. Market is expected to remain good for Summer months Eggplant Supply is picking back up and price is lowering on both 18 and 24ct. Both are expected to remain in good supply for summer months. Grapes Red Seedless - Supplies are increasing locally. Price is coming down as local and Mexico crops are both picking up. Supply is normal, color is very green and prices are coming off. Romaine Hearts- Supplies are increasing. Quality is good and prices are stable. Also everything we are sourcing is out Yuma Az. Iceberg lettuce - quality remains great in color and texture. Butter lettuce - Prices are stable and quality is good. Mushrooms Mushroom growers are still recovering from the severe damage and supply will be affected for several months. We are starting to see some improvements of supply and will keep you informed of any changes.

Melons Cantaloupe - Production is good and new production in central CA has started and will pick up production in the upcoming weeks. the are brixing high in sugar. Honeydew - Production will remain in a demand exceeds supply situation for the upcoming weeks. New supply lags behind cantaloupe which keeps price high and also availability is challenging to find good quality melons. Heirloom Melons- Are now in season from WEISER farms and quality is very good. Product will remain available for next 2 months and are selling quick!! Pineapple Volume will begin to ease off starting now through july. Where there was an excess of fruit in the first quarter, there is likely to be a decrease of fruit in q3. Sizing will play an important roll Potatoes Idaho - supplies are tight on larger size and prices are higher than normal due to the delayed planting earlier this year caused by the weather. Washington supplies are good and prices remain stable. Yukon bakers - Availability is limited and pricing remaining higher than normal Russet - Quality is getting better while pricing is coming down - two months Kennebec - Very short right now and the quality is fair at best. from farm to kitchen...ab!t a few of!r local farms Weiser Family Farms: Weiser Family Farms began in 1977 when Sid Weiser and his wife Raquel laid down roots in Tehachapi, California. There, they learned to tend to the fruit trees... apples, peaches, and pears. In the ensuing years, they acquired farmland in other locations where they branched out into a variety of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Del Cabo Farms: Having already created Jacobs Farm, a successful organic farming operation, and with a knack for developing niche markets, longtime organic farmers Larry Jacobs and Sandra Belin were confident in their vision for their next venture. In 1985, they encountered a community of struggling, subsistence-level farmers in Mexico, and the Del Cabo cooperative was conceived. The idea of farm- and community-centered production supported by international market opportunities proved to be successful. Today, this collaboration between Jacobs Farm and the Baja growers provides over 400 farming families with needed training in organic growing, harvesting, and handling, as well as start-up funds, farming technology, administrative training, and consistent distribution channels ensuring the best return for small-scale farms. Scarborough Farms: For over 20 years, Scarborough family farm has been dedicated to growing some of the highest quality, most vibrant, aesthetically appealing specialty produce on the planet. Their small scale, custom farming methods ensure fresh, just harvested gourmet products that taste wonderful and have a longer shelf life. They have earned a reputation for deeply caring for the land and for fulfilling the ever evolving tastes of American cuisine. Grown only in the United States, Scarborough Farms produce is grown according to strict state and federal regulations. They follow good agricultural practices to ensure that everything we grow is not only beautiful and nutritious, but safe to eat, as well. Babe Farms: Babe Farms was founded in March of 1986 by Will Souza and four partners. With deep roots in the Santa Maria Valley, Mr. Souza was a well established, third generation farmer of conventional vegetables. Inspired by his extensive travels throughout Europe, where he discovered the availability and popularity of baby-sized fresh produce, a new company, Babe Farms was born. Mcgrath Farms: McGrath s farm s a sustainable farm that grows a high diversity of year-round organic fruits and vegetables. Farming on the coast of Southern California for 5 generations Mcgrath farm has the deepest topsoil and the best climate to produce a utopian garden farm. Tutti Frutti Farms: In 1988 Chris Cadwell a 5 th generation farmer took over his family s undeveloped fourteen acres hillside property overlooking the Pacific Ocean Channel Islands in Carpentaria California. Since then he and his family began cultivating it for organic produce for the coastal communities of southern California. They decided the farms name Tutti Frutti Italian for All Fruits. Polito Family farms: Is located in Valley Center California. Polito Family Farms is a very small operation just husband and wife Bob and Mary running the show. Their fruit is pesticide free and grown here on our farm. Many of their specialty citrus fruits are available during the winter and spring months only; each fruit has its particular season. They pick and ship only fruit that is fully mature, tree ripened, juicy and delicious. to set up a farm t!r, please contact y!r local sales representative or call us for more information Thank you for your continued business, The Polisky Family & Nature s Produce
