Boxing Day Why not celebrate Boxing Day at The Shrewsbury Arms We are open all day and serving our full menu along with a traditional roast dinner menu from 12 noon until 9.30pm. As ever, we don t charge you to come in to your favourite pub but we do expect it to get very busy in our bar, as we will also be serving food in there until 9.30pm. You can reserve a table in the restaurant on Boxing Day, but we are asking for a small deposit of just 5.00 per person. Pre orders for food are required for parties of 8 and above. New Year's Eve What better place to celebrate the turn of the year, than at The Shrewsbury Arms. We are open all day and serving our full menu from 12noon until 9.30pm. As ever, we don t charge you to come in to your favourite pub but we do expect it to get very busy in our bar, as we will also be serving food in there until 9.30pm. There will be a disco from 9.30pm until 1am and of course fireworks in the garden at midnight. You can reserve a table in the restaurant on New Years Eve, but we are asking for a small deposit of just 5.00 per person after 5pm if you want to make a reservation. When making your reservation please be aware that your table reservation will be for an hour and a half for 8 people or less. When booking for 8 or more people, there will be a turnaround time of 2 hours. Should you require a table for the entire evening, we recommend that you make dinner reservations for 9.30pm. The menu can be served in the Bar or Restaurant and whilst reservations aren't always necessary, they are advisable for larger parties. This is always available in addition to our full normal menu. Friday & Saturday Night Live Music Every Friday & Saturday we showcase some of the best talent around. The vibe is always upbeat and acoustic, with our artists covering music from all eras and genre's all putting their own unique twist on their set.
