catering and group dining MENUS Our menus, designed by Executive Chef David Lentz, change seasonally and are designed to showcase the opulence of the sea, presented with market-fresh ingredients from local farms and artisanal purveyors. We take delight in offering dazzling seafood and a cutting-edge bar program. For all parties of 8 or more dining in the restaurant, we require a prix-fixe menu. We request that you finalize your menu selections at least one week prior to your event date. Special menu requests for dietary, health or religious reasons may be arranged in advance with the Special Events Manager. We will print menus for your event and would be happy to personalize them with a logo or title. Please note that we print menus in black and white. FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUMS A food and beverage minimum will apply for each special event. Rates will vary depending on your estimated guest count and event date. Please note that the minimum does not include tax, gratuity, catering rental equipment, transportation, or add-ons such as audio-visual fees or floral charges. GUEST COUNT We require a confirmation of your guest count two working days prior to your event date. We will be prepared to accommodate 10% over the guaranteed guest count and we will charge for the final guest count or guaranteed guest count, whichever is greater. If we do not receive your guaranteed guest count two working days prior to your event, we will use your original estimated guest count.
BEVERAGES All beverages are charged on consumption and will be added to your bill at the conclusion of the event. Our Master Mixologist David Warchol can assist you in creating custom cocktail for your event. we would be happy to assist you in the selection of wines for your event. For parties of over 20 guests, it is important to have the wine selections determined in advance so that we can guarantee availability. Our corkage fee is $25 per 750 ml. bottle (limit two). CAKE CUTTING FEES If you wish to bring in your own cake in lieu of our dessert offerings, we will be happy to serve and plate it. If you would like to serve a specialty cake in addition to our dessert offerings, a $2.50 per person cake cutting fee will be charged to your final bill. AUDIO/VISUAL EQUIPMENT We allow the use of audio/visual equipment only for full restaurant buy-outs. To ensure availability of equipment, we request that arrangements be made at least one week prior to your event date. Should you need to cancel any equipment, we require at least two working days notice to avoid cancellation charges. SERVICE CHARGE AND TAX All special events are subject to a 20% service charge and 9.0% sales tax. In compliance with California state law, all service charges are subject to sales tax. PAYMENT We require a completed contract and a deposit to confirm a reservation. Payment is due upon completion of the event. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and cash. CANCELLATION POLICY In the event of a cancellation 7 days or more prior to the scheduled event, your deposit will be fully refunded. If your event is cancelled within 24 hours of the event or if your group does not show up, the entire minimum requirement, 20% service charge, and applicable sales tax will be charged to the credit card on file.
