Banquet Bar Options Cash Bar A cash bar may be set up for any group of 30 people or more. There is a $125 bartending charge assessed to the client. The client has no further obligation to the bar. The guests attending the event would then purchase drinks if so desired. Open Bar All open bars are done on a consumption basis only. The Dubsdread catering staff can assist you with determining an estimate for the bar based on the product you wish to be made available at the event. On the day of your event, as the bar is nearing the projected dollar amount, the client will be notified and be given the choice to authorize additional monies to be put on the bar, or to convert to a cash bar. The client does not pay the cash bartending charge when the bar is converted from open to cash bar. The client is able to specify exactly what they would like at the bar (beer and wine only; beer wine & liquor; or beer, wine and a specialty drink).
