Terms and Conditions: Confirmation of Booking & Payment of Hire Fees: Your booking will be confirmed in advance be the room hire fee. All remaining expenses as determined by the number of persons attending your function combined with your choice of menus and other options will be payable 7 days prior to your function. Cancellations: Notice of cancellations must be made in writing and the following conditions apply: If notice is given 6 months prior to the event, a full refund is available. If notice is given less than 6 months prior to the event, room hire fees to a maximum of $300 are retained. If notice is given (2) weeks or less prior to the event, room hire fees to a maximum of $350 are retained plus 25% of the full catering fee will be charged. Final Confirmation of Numbers: Confirmation of final numbers is required 7 days prior to the function. This will be considered a minimum number not subject to reduction. Should the number of guests exceed the minimum the Hotel will endeavour to accommodate them but no guarantee is given. Should such extra guests be accommodated, the appropriate charges will be made accordingly. We will advise you of any additional charges and these should be paid within two days. If the number of guests drops below this number, you will be charged according to the minimum number given. Payment: Payment of your account may be made by Cash, Credit or Debit Card. If payment is made by cheque, this payment is to be organised 7 days prior to your function. Tentative Bookings: A tentative booking will be held for a period of seven (7) days and management reserves the right to terminate a tentative booking. Please ensure you leave your daytime or mobile telephone contact numbers with our friendly staff when making a tentative booking. Pricing & Menus: Whilst we endeavour to maintain our prices at the time of booking they may be subject to price increase which we will inform you of. Beverage prices are subject to change and are based on CPI increases. All prices quoted are inclusive of GST When alterations are requested to buffets or set menus, prices may vary depending on the changes you require. Children and special diet menus are available on request. Functions booked on public holidays will incur a 30% surcharge on total bill for room hire, catering and bar tab.
Cakes & Food: Due to Health & Safety regulations, no food may be brought into the function other than the food provided by the Hotel. However, cakes such as Birthday / Wedding cakes etc may be brought into the Hotel provided it has been purchased from an accredited food and beverage establishment. If you require plates, cutlery and serviettes or you require our Chef to cut and platter your cake for you, Cakeage fees may apply. Damage & Injury: You assume all responsibility for all and any property damage and person injury caused by you or your guests and anyone else under your control (including without limitation, a DJ or entertainer either in the function or another part of the Hotel and agree to compensate us for any related costs, expenses, liabilities and losses). If a DJ or entertainer is used you are advised to ensure that they have suitable insurance cover. The Hotel Manager or security shall be entitled to remove anyone from the premises whose behaviour is felt to be inappropriate. Legislation: Under current Legislation patrons can only consume alcohol if they are over the age of eighteen (18). Proof-of-age may be requested by the hotel staff at any time. As we operate licensed premises, under no circumstances can alcohol be brought onto the premises. As the function room is part of the Hotel, all Responsible Service of Alcohol Laws will apply. Any breaches of the liquor licensing laws may result in termination of your function without refund, or guests being refused service and asked to leave the premises immediately. Please note a current Australian Drivers Licence or Passport and 18+ cards are acceptable forms of Identification. Minors Minors are allowed in the function room until such time as specified by the Management and must be accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times. Under special circumstances and at the discretion of the Hotel Management, this time may be extended, however minors will not be permitted to stay beyond what is legally permitted. Minors are not allowed to access any areas of the hotel apart from the Function Room or Children s Games Room unless they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
