Bar Tab Simply put down a deposit over the bar and select the desired beverages you wish to enjoy until you reach your deposit limit. Limits may be increased any time by liaising with the Function Coordinator. *All guests on a Bar tab or a Package will be offered wrist bands if you do not have an exclusive room hire. Page 5

Conduct & Responsible Service The Burnside Tavern practices and encourages responsible service of alcohol. We reserve the right to refuse service or entry to unduly intoxicated or disorderly patrons. Dress standards apply depending on the nature or theme of the function. Any patrons conducting violent, suggestive or sexual behaviour, under the influence of illicit drugs or engaging in any other illegal behaviour will be excluded from the venue. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any patron or guest. Management also reserves the right to evict anyone breaching the terms and conditions of RSA laws. A maximum of a double shot will be served unless in a written cocktail menu. Alcohol will only be provided to patrons over the age of 18. Any patron caught giving secondary supply to minors (supplying anyone under the age of 18) will be asked to leave the premises immediately and indefinitely. Proof of age must be carried by all patrons at all times and must consist of the following: Current Australian driver s license or permit Current Australian or foreign passport A current government-issued, proof-of-age card from any State or Territory Foreign driver s license provided it has a photo and date of birth (DOB) Victorian Keypass *Management reserves the right to see more than one form of authorised ID and the right to refuse entry to anyone. Terms & Conditions Payments and minimum spends All food payments for canapés, platters and set menus are non-refundable and must be paid for two weeks prior to your event. This may act as the deposit for your function to secure your booking. You will not be charged room hire if a deposit is made for your food or drink packages in advance and it reaches the minimum spend requirements for the exclusive area. Smoking Smoking is only permitted in Designated Outdoor Smoking Areas in accordance with Queensland tobacco laws. A copy of the hotels smoking management plans are available on request. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all other areas of the hotel. Wheelchair Access All areas of the ground floor in the hotel are wheelchair accessible. A disabled toilet is available on the ground floor adjacent to the bistro. There is strictly no wheelchair access upstairs and the Tavern does not permit wheelchairs to be carried upstairs. Deposits A booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been paid. Deposits will not be refunded if the booking is cancelled within two weeks of the function date. Cancellations Your deposit or room hire will be refunded in full if you wish to cancel no later than 2 weeks in advance of your function date. Your deposit/room hire will NOT be refunded if you need to cancel for any reason within 2 weeks of the event date. Security The Function Coordinator will determine the risk of the function and allocate the number of security needed for your event. Any extra security on top of the hotel s normal roster will be charged at a price of $40.00p/h. Entertainment Any personal entertainment you wish to have may be brought in on the Venue Manager s discretion. All personal entertainers must provide a copy of their public liability insurance before setting up any equipment. If the Manager feels your entertainment is inappropriate, dangerous or distasteful for any reason it will not be permitted. Personal entertainment may be admitted at your own cost. The hotel can also provide personal entertainment at your cost. Speak to the Function Coordinator or see the function pack for more details. Sound Limits Due to the hotels commercial license there are sound limits that must not be breached anytime during an event. The function room at the eastern end of the hotel must not exceed 110db(c) fast response, when meassured 3 metres from the primary source. Any noise in any area of the hotel (including the outdoor dining area) must not exceed 75db(c), fast response, when measured 3 metres from the primary source. If these limits are breached at any time the manager on duty reserves the right to shut down the entertainment. Linen Hire All functions will be charged a linen hire fee. The linen hire fee will vary depending on the function requirements. Page 7
