othin NEWCOMERS OF THE BEACHES, INC. A Letter from the President, When we took on the new web site, we knew it would bring about changes to the club. We seem to have adjusted well to the change. The Board has now found it advantageous to incorporate the club and apply for tax-exempt/not for profit status with the IRS. We have already incorporated and are in the process of completing our not for profit application. We need to revise our bylaws to accommodate these changes. The bylaws have been completely overhauled. The proposed bylaws will be emailed to members and are posted on the website, under Member Central /Forms and Documents/ Proposed Bylaws. Please review them. The black text in the bylaw document is content from the prior bylaws; pink text is new content. The new bylaws will be presented at the April and May Luncheons and voted on at the June Luncheon. The nomination committee will also be presenting the new slate of board members at the April Luncheon, to be voted on at the May Luncheon. NEWCOMERS OF THE BEACHES, INC. 5 Let s give a big welcome to our newest members! Susan Rice Ponte Vedra Marlene Kenney Neptune Beach Linda Konya Atlantic Beach Susan Winkler Ponte Vedra Beach A Creative Way to Dye Easter Eggs Here s what you do: Get some cheap white shaving cream, and spread out on a cookie sheet. Dribble food coloring across the surface. Neon food coloring makes the best-looking eggs. Use a toothpick to swirl the colors around in the shaving cream. Take your dried, and cooled hardboiled egg, and roll it around in the cream. You can use sandwich baggies as gloves to help keep the coloring consistent, keep finger prints off, and keep from coloring you. Sit colored eggs to the side on a paper plate and allow them to dry for five minutes. After allowing the eggs to sit, wipe off shaving cream and rinse with water! Now you will have some unique Easter eggs quickly and easily, without a lot of mess and spending a lot of money. Plus, the kids will have a great time with the shaving cream!
