meet the team Yunib Siddiqui Group Chief Executive Officer A serial entrepreneur, Yunib established his first business in his early twenties and his franchising experience began in 2003 when he joined the board of Team-A ventures as their Brand Development Director. A keen foodie and opportunist, he opened Jones the Grocer s first franchise store in Abu Dhabi in 2009. He subsequently went on to purchase the global IP rights for the brand which today includes 25 operational stores in eight countries with several locations in the pipeline. Yunib is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), author of several articles on entrepreneurship for The National newspaper. He is also a non-executive board member and early investor in Team A Ventures in Pakistan.

meet the team Julisah Kasman Group Operations Director Julisah Kasman is the Group Operations Director of Jones the Grocer and holds more than 20 years of F&B operations experience across Singapore, Malaysia, Oman and Dubai. Having worked for notable international brands including Jumeirah, Anantara and Movenpick, Julisah is a seasoned operations director with extensive international experience spanning pre-opening, supply-chain management, recruitment and franchising. Oliver Sutton Global Retail Manager Oliver Sutton is an experienced FMCG professional with over 10 years of experience in the retail industry. Having worked in England, Singapore, Africa and the United Arab Emirates, Oliver heads the global retail operations for Jones the Grocer across 8 countries. Prior to joining Jones the Grocer, Oliver was the Director of Sales and Operations at the Cheese Artisans Private Limited in Singapore.

meet the team Peter Green Head of Food Development With more than 14 years of experience in culinary management, training and development, Peter Green is Jones the Grocer s Head of Food Development and holds a diploma in professional cooking and baking from the Institute of Culinary Arts in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Peter has worked with some of the top restaurants in Cape Town and London including Ledbury (2 Michelin star), Chez Bruce (1 Michelin star) and Mount Nelson Hotel. Jovel Chan Head of Marketing and Communications From Singapore, Jovel heads marketing, communications and brand management for Jones the Grocer across its 25 international outlets. A graduate from Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, Jovel also holds degrees from both the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and Harvard Business School (HBX). With experience spanning across Singapore, Bangkok and the UAE, Jovel has successfully launched multiple F&B concepts into the market.
