It has medium high intensity with citrus (lemon skin, tangerine) and white flowers (acacia and orange blossom). Tropical background with lychees hints. In the palate it has very fresh and good acidity. Heaps of fruits, intense and very balanced. Torres Viña Esmeralda Penedes, 2016 Viña Esmeralda is a delicate and very aromatic white wine from Catalonia produced by Bodegas Torres. The nose is intense with notes of rose and lavender, hints of jasmine and citrus fruits like orange. The palate is fine and elegant and has a very long aftertaste. Quintaluna de Ossian Castilla y León, 2015 Made from 100% Verdejo grapes. Lovely ripe lemon aroma with a fresher grapefruit note as well and just a slight stony quality adding another dimension to the fruit. Beautifully fragrant without being excessively perfumed. Succulent and full in the mouth though it is beautifully fresh. Godello, Les 3 Amis Audacia Valdeorras, 2013 Audacia is still in its youth but the wine progressively reveals a combination of flowers (rose, honeysuckle) fruits (pear, custard apple) where hints of non-toasted almonds, wheat flour and smoke are noticed. On the palate, it allies generosity and firmness. It is very pleasant and lingering. Loureiro, Quinta do Ameal Portugal, 2015 Quinta do Ameal is the quality wine champion of Vino Verde, dedicated to the Loureiro grape varietal. This is a beautiful organic and un-oaked wine, and is crisp, dry, fresh, floral and elegant, with a juicy citrus palate and lovely minerality. It is multi-layered and feels gloriously alive, with a persistent finish that makes one drool. Vinyes Domenech Rita Montsant, 2015 Displaying aromas of white fruit and wellintegrated, subtle notes from oak-ageing, this coupage of Garnacha Blanca (60%) and Macabeo is decidedly unctuous, with balsamic and mineral notes, and particularly fresh and pleasant on the palate, including a slightly bitter touch on the finish.

Intense, with many nuances. Red fruits predominate, accompanied by toasty notes, roast coffee beans, vanilla and some neat minerality. Vilosell, Tomas Cuisine Costers del Segre, 2015 Blend of Tempranillo & Syrah. Dark red cherry color with violet tons. Singular nose with wide aromatic spectrum, red fruits, raspberries, blueberries, spices like white pepper and clove, cocoa, and aromas of noble wood. Intense and voluminous in the mouth, smooth, mineral slate tons, licorice, ink, with sweet round tannins, and notes of matured forest. Roda I Reserva, Rioja, 2011 The deep, dark, black fruit is almost always dominated by plum aromas together with mineral and chocolate notes, balsamic flavours, all of which form a whole which flows slowly from the very bottom of the glass, developing hugely as it reaches the expectant nose of the taster. On the palate, the fullness of the wine comes through clearly, the fruit complexity gently coating the mouth with masses of sweet tannins. Nadine Ferrand Macon Blanc, 2015 This wine is clear, bright with a beautiful pall gold dress and green color. The nose is fresh, mineral with candied lemon and honey aromas. 13800 Prima, Bodegas San Roman Toro, 2014 85% Tinta de Toro, 15% Garnacha. The wine was aged in French and American oak for 12 months. The nose displays smoky black fruit and a touch of black olive.
