6 Layer Cookies ¼ c. melted butter ¾ c. graham cracker crumbs ½ c. chocolate chips ½ c. butterscotch chips (or 10 caramels cut up) 2/3 c. coconut 7 oz. Sweetened condensed milk Preheat oven at 350º. Pour melted butter into 9 pan to cover bottom. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs evenly over butter. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Sprinkle butterscotch chips on top. Sprinkle coconut on top. Evenly pour sweetened condensed milk on top. Bake about 25 minutes, until top is bubbling and golden brown. Allow to cool completely before cutting and eating.

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins ¼ c. butter ¼ c. brown sugar ½ tsp. Baking soda ¼ tsp. Salt ¼ tsp. Cinnamon ¼ tsp. Nutmeg ½ tsp. Vanilla ¾ c. mashed ripe banana ¼ c. honey 1 egg 1 c. flour ¼ c. chocolate chips. Preheat oven to 350º. Lightly grease muffin tin. Mix butter, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla until smooth. Add banana, honey, and eggs. Beat until smooth. Add flour and chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Spoon batter into muffin cups. Bake about 20 minutes, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.

Barbecue Sauce ½ c. ketchup 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar 1 Tbsp. Apple cider vinegar 1 dash hot sauce 1 tsp. Garlic powder ¼ tsp. Salt 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Simmer all ingredients over medium heat. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Buttercream Frosting (for one layered cake plus decorating) 2 c. margarine 2 tsp. Vanilla ½ tsp. Salt 2 lbs. Confectioners sugar ¼ c. whole milk Mix all ingredients in large mixing bowl with an electric mixer until smooth.

Buttermilk Chocolate Cake 1 ¾ c. flour 2 c. sugar ¾ c. cocoa 2 tsp. Baking soda 1 tsp. Baking powder 1 tsp. Salt 1 Tbsp. Vinegar 1 c. milk ½ c. oil 2 eggs 1 tsp. Vanilla 1 c. coffee Preheat oven to 350º. Put vinegar in wet cup measure. Add milk. Let sit 10 minutes to make buttermilk. Butter and flour (2) 9 cake pans. In a mixing flour, stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Add coffee. Mix. Pour the batter into the pans. Bake 35-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cake Pops (1) 9 cake 1 cup frosting 1 lb. White or Semisweet chocolate chips 2 Tbsp. Shortening 24 lollipop sticks Optional: colored sugar, sprinkles, oreos, coconut flakes Crumble cooled cake in bowl. Add 1 c. frosting. Mix well. Roll cake/frosting mixture into golf-ball sized balls. Place balls on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and place in freezer for ½ hour. Melt shortening in saucepan over medium-low heat, then add chocolate, stirring constantly until chocolate is just melted. Dip cake balls in chocolate. Optional: rolls balls in optional ingredients. Insert lollipop sticks into cake balls. Place on parchment-lined cookie sheets until dry.

Caramel Apple Muffins 1/3 c. sugar ¼ c. butter 1 egg 2 1/3 c. flour 4 tsp. Flour 4 tsp. Baking powder ½ tsp. Salt 1 c. milk 1 tsp. Vanilla 12 caramel candies 1 apple ½ c. sugar 1/3 c. flour ½ tsp. Cinnamon ¼ c. butter Preheat oven at 350º. In a mixing bowl, cream sugar and butter together. Add egg and mix well. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Pour bowl of dry ingredients into creamy ingredients. Add milk and vanilla. Mix. Grate apple, avoiding the core. Mix apple into batter. Fill muffin tins with batter. Put one caramel in each muffin tin, submerging caramel in batter. Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon, and butter with a fork to make streusel topping. Top muffins with streusel. Bake 20-25 minutes.

Caramel Rice Krispy Treats 2 c. mini marshmallows 2 Tbsp. Margarine 3 c. Rice Krispies 1/3 c. Caramel syrup Vegetable cooking spray Microwave margarine and marshmallows on high for 2 minutes. Stir. Microwave 1 more minute. Sir until smooth. Add rice krispies and caramel syrup. Stir until coated. Press mixture into 9 pan coated with vegetable cooking spray. Optional: top with melted chocolate.

Cheesy Tuna Melts ¼ c. grated Velveeta cheese 7 oz. Tuna 2 Tbsp. Chopped green pepper 2 Tbsp. Sweet onion 2 Tbsp. Sweet pickle relish ¼ c. Miracle Whip ½ tsp. Salt ½ tsp. Pepper 6 hamburger buns Preheat oven at 350º. Mix all ingredients. Spread hamburger buns (open) on baking sheet. Spoon mixture onto buns. Bake about 15 minutes, until cheese melts.

Chicken Parmesan Strips 3 chicken breasts ½ c. cornmeal ½ c. flour ½ c. Parmesan cheese 1 tsp. Salt 1 Tbsp. Basil 1 tsp. Pepper ½ c. melted butter Preheat oven at 400º. Cut chicken into 2 inch pieces. Mix cornmeal, flour, cheese, salt, basil, and pepper. Dip chicken in butter, then dry ingredients, then greased baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes.

Chocolate Chip Cookies 1 1 / 3 c. flour ½ tsp. Baking soda ¼ tsp. Salt ½ c. butter ½ c. sugar ¼ c. packed brown sugar 1 egg 1 ¼ tsp. Vanilla 2 /3 c. chocolate chips Preheat oven to 375º. In one bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream together butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients to creamy ingredients. Mix well. Mix in chocolate chips. Spray cookie sheets with vegetable oil. Bake 8-10 minutes.

Chocolate-dipped Pretzels 1 Tbsp. Shortening 12 oz. Chocolate chips Pretzels (rods or twists) Optional: sprinkles, M&Ms, coconut flakes Microwave shortening and chocolate chips for 30 seconds at a time until just melted. Stir in between. Dip pretzels in chocolate. Sprinkle optional ingredients on top. Put pretzels on foil-covered baking sheets. Put in refrigerator until cooled.

Chocolate Fudge Cake 1 c. butter 1 lb. Semisweet chocolate 9 eggs (separated) 1 ¼ c. sugar Preheat oven to 350º. Butter (2) 9 inch pans, line the bottom with wax paper, butter the wax paper, then lightly flour the whole pan. Heat butter in saucepan on low heat. Add chocolate to melted butter, stir constantly under melted. Let cool. Beat egg yolks with mixer for 1 minute. Slowly add sugar to egg yolks and continue beating until thick and pale.

Chocolate Fudge Cake - continued Add the cooled chocolate mixture to the egg yolk/sugar mixture. Stir until thoroughly blended. In separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff, standing in peaks that droop slightly. Drop chocolate mixture over the egg whites. Gently fold until blended. Pour batter into pan. Bake 25-30 minutes. Cool 30 minutes before removing from pan. Frost with Fudge Frosting. May top with whipped cream before eating.

Cinnamon Applesauce Muffins ½ c. butter ½ c. sugar 1 egg ¼ tsp. Vanilla 1 / 3 c. cinnamon applesauce (or regular applesauce with ½ tsp. Cinnamon added) 1 ¼ c. flour ½ tsp. Baking soda ¼ tsp. Salt 1 / 3 c. powdered sugar Preheat oven at 350º. Put muffin liners in muffin tins. Cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl with a fork. Mix in eggs, vanilla, and applesauce. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the creamy ingredients. Mix. Put batter into muffin cups. Bake about 15 minutes. Mix powdered sugar and water to make glaze. Pour glaze on top of muffins before eating. 1 Tbsp. Warm water

Corn Muffins 1 ½ c. yellow corn meal 1 c. flour 1 ½ tsp. Baking powder ¼ tsp. Baking soda ¼ c. sugar ½ tsp salt 1 c. buttermilk (2 Tbsp. Vinegar plus milk, let sit 10 minutes) 1 egg ¼ c. vegetable oil Preheat oven at 400º. Line muffin tins with liners or spray with cooking spray. Mix corn meal, flour, baking soda, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Set aside. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, egg, and vegetable oil. Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients. Mix until just blended. Let sit 5 minutes. Spoon batter into tins, ¾ full. Bake 15 minutes or until muffins are golden.

Cream Cheese Frosting (for one 9 cake) 4 oz. Cream cheese ¼ c. butter 1 c. confectioners sugar 1 tsp. Vanilla Combine all ingredients using electric mixer. Beat until smooth.

Double Chocolate Chip Cookies ½ c. flour ¼ c. cocoa ¼ tsp. Baking soda 1 /8 tsp. Salt 3 /8 c. margarine ½ c. sugar 1 egg ¼ tsp. Vanilla 1 /3 c. chocolate chips Preheat oven at 350º. In a mixing bowl, mix together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream margarine and sugar with a fork. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix. Add dry ingredients to creamy ingredients. Mix. Mix in chocolate chips. Drop tablespooons of dough on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes.

Dylan s Strawberry Chocolate Chip Muffins 1 ½ c. flour ½ c. sugar 1 ½ tsp. Baking powder ½ tsp. Salt 1 c. milk 1 egg ½ c. oil 1 c. strawberries 1 c. chocolate chips Preheat oven at 400 degrees. Put muffin liners in muffin tins. In a mixing bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix. Mix in milk, egg, and oil. Add strawberries and chocolate chips. Spoon batter into muffin tins about ¾ full. Bake about 20 minutes, or until top springs back when touched and is golden-brown.

Extreme Brownies Cookie Layer: 1 ¼ c. flour ½ tsp. Baking soda ½ tsp. Salt ½ c. butter 1 / 3 c. sugar 1 / 3 c. brown sugar ½ tsp. Vanilla 1 egg 1 c. chocolate chips 12 oreos Brownie Layer: ¼ c. butter 1 / 3 c. chocolate chips ½ c. sugar 1 egg ¼ tsp. Salt 1 tsp. Vanilla ¼ c. flour

Extreme Brownies - continued Preheat oven at 350º. Either put muffin liners in muffin tins or grease a square 9 pan. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar with a fork. Add vanilla and egg to butter/sugar mixture. Pour dry ingredients into creamy ingredients. Mix together. Mix in chocolate chips. Either press cookie dough into bottom of muffin tins or 9 pan. Put oreos on top of cookie dough. Melt butter in a saucepan over mediumlow heat. Once butter is melted, add chocolate chips to pan and stir constantly until chips are just melted. Pour butter/chocolate mixture into mixing bowl. Add sugar, egg, salt, vanilla, and flour. Mix. Pour brownie mixture over oreos. If in muffin tins, bake 15-20 minutes, if in pan, bake 30-45 minutes.

Fudge Frosting (for one layered cake) 4 c. confectioners sugar ½ c. unsweetened cocoa ¼ tsp. Salt 2 / 3 c. boiling water 1 / 3 c. butter, softened Combine sugar, cocoa, and salt in mixing bowl. Stir in water slowly. Add butter and vanilla and beat until smooth. Refrigerate until cooled. 1 tsp. Vanilla

Homemade Butter 1 ½ c. half and half ¼ tsp. Salt Put half and half in a jar. Shake for 5-10 minutes, until butter is firm. Add salt.

Homemade Ice Cream 2 Tbsp. Sugar 1 c. half and half ½ tsp. Vanilla ½ c. rock salt (or regular salt) Ice cubes to fill gallon ziplock bag 1 pint ziplock bag 1 gallon ziplock bag Combine sugar, half and half, and vanilla in pintsized bag. Place salt and ice in gallon ziplock bag. Place sealed pint-sized bag inside gallon ziplock. Seal gallon ziplock. Shake bag until mixture hardens (about 5 minutes). Take small bag out of large one. Either eat soft ice cream out of bag or place in freezer and eat when hardened completely.

Milkshakes 4 c. ice cream 1 ½ c. milk (more or less depending on desired thickness) Optional: 3 Tbs. Ice creaming topping, oreos, or frozen fruit Put ice cream, milk, and optional ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

Mini Apple Crumble 4 apples ½ c. sugar ¾ c. flour ¾ c. butter Sugar and cinnamon (to taste) Pre-heat oven at 350º. Peel and finely dice apples. Put muffin liners in muffin tin. Cream sugar, flour, and butter with a fork in a mixing bowl until it becomes crumbly. Put a layer of apples in the bottom of each muffin cup. Sprinkle a layer of sugar and cinnamon on top of the apples. Put another layer of apples on top of the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle crumbly sugar, flour, and butter on top of apples. Bake about 20 minutes.

Mini Cherry Crumble 2 c. frozen cherries 1/8 c. sugar 2 Tbsp. Flour 1 pinch nutmeg ¼ tsp. Cinnamon ¼ tsp vanilla 1 pinch salt ½ brown sugar ¼ tsp salt ¼ c. sugar ½ c. oats 2/3 c. flour ¼ tsp. Cinnamon 5 Tbsp. Butter Preheat oven at 375º. Put muffin liners in muffin tins. Mix frozen cherries with 1/8 c. sugar and flour in a mixing bowl. Add nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Mix. Put cherry mixture into muffin tins. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, salt, sugar, oats, flour, and cinnamon. Use a fork to cream in the butter until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle crumbly mixture over cherry mixture. Bake 12-15 minutes.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies 1 c. flour ½ tsp. Baking powder ½ tsp. Baking soda 1 ¼ c. oats ½ c. soft butter ½ c. sugar ½ c. brown sugar, firmly packed 1 egg ½ tsp. Vanilla 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips Preheat oven to 400º. Mix together flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside. Put oats in blender until powdered. Mix into other dry ingredients. Set aside. In mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars with a fork. Mix in the egg. Stir in the vanilla. Add dry ingredients to creamy ingredients, stirring well. Mix in chocolate. Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla with a fork in a mixing bowl. Add flour. Mix until it looks like crumbs. Pour crumbs into pan. Press crumbs into pan until it looks like dough. Bake 16-20 minutes, until the edges of the dough are golden-brown. Let shortbread cool for 10 minutes. Cut and remove from pan. Mix together strawberries and sugar. Top shortbread with strawberry mixture and whipped cream.

Cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl with a fork. Add eggs. Mix well. Stir in vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Mix. Stir in milk. Bake 18-24 minutes until top is golden and springs back when touched.

Whipped Cream 2 c. heavy whipping cream 12 Tbs. Confectioners sugar 1 tsp. Vanilla Partially whip cream. Add sugar 1 Tbs. At a time until cream is almost firm. Add vanilla and beat until firm.

Whiz Cinnamon Rolls 2 c. Bisquick 2 / 3 c. milk ¼ c. softened butter ¼ c. sugar 1 tsp. Cinnamon Heat oven to 425º. Grease muffin tin with shortening. Beat Bisquick and milk with a fork. Roll dough on a surface covered with Bisquick. Knead 10 times. Roll dough into a rectangle roughly 12 x 7 inches. Spread dough with soft butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Roll up tightly widthwise. Seal well. Cut into 1 inch slices. Put in muffin cups. Bake about 15 minutes, or until brown.
