Liguori and I call upon our school families to turn out in strong numbers to our weekend Masses at St. Patrick Catholic Church. We will be doing a second collection for our school. Our deck at the Early Learning Center is beyond the point of repair and needs to be completely rebuilt to ensure the safety of our school children. The cost of the project is $30,000. With the help of some generous donors, our project has already started and the deck is looking great! Any sacrifice you can make for this unbudgeted project, is greatly appreciated. Students who wear their full school uniform to Mass this weekend can earn a NUT (No Uniform Today) Pass by approaching Fr. Liguori after Mass. This pass will be good for the next school day, Monday August 27 th. On Sunday, our 8 th graders will be participating in various parts of the Mass and the school will sponsor coffee and donuts in the Parish Hall after the 10:00 AM Mass! Come join us! God Sightings Abound! St. Patrick Catholic School has a Virtue Program, where our teachers infuse virtues into their daily classroom teachings. When a student goes above and beyond to demonstrate a virtue that has been discussed, their teachers can nominate them for a God Sighting. Our students never miss an opportunity to impress us with their positive choices. These wonderful students are among the first students to have received a God Sighting from one of their teachers this school year. Way to go! Middle School Closes First Week with Religious Retreat Our Middle School Teachers partnered with the Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother to plan a retreat on Friday August 17 th for our Middle School Students. The theme was We Are Family. Students had opportunities for prayer, reflection, and team building activities.
