Mix It Up World of Cocktails The User Application is designed to satisfy the needs of wide variety of users, all of which have one thing in common likeness of cocktails. Users who want to get familiar with the cocktails world and who like to enjoy the brilliance of the program design. The Idea The whole idea of the application started from the demand on such type of information sources. What is a mobile handset? This is the accessory which everyone takes with them wherever they go. It s portable, private and personal. On the other hands everyone likes having a good time with his/her friends, drinking alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks and enjoying their time. But less people have a good understanding of cocktails and have any idea about passionate and impressing world of those. Our idea was to design a mobile application with an innovative user interface and high quality of content, to bring the best possible experience to our potential users. Design The design of the whole program was created according to the psychology of potential users: what outfit they would have preferred, colours that would best match the context and interface that would be user-friendly overall. The result we got is the amazing application with a very useful functionality. Starting from the bases, the colours were chosen according to the affect they have on our minds. We took 2 primary colours: Blue and Orange. Using the transparency, glow and reflection effects we got an attractive, user impelling and warm program outfit. The whole program is constructed based on the idea that it should be user friendly easiest to use. Divided into sections, it enables user to get the results wanted in seconds without any struggle incurred.

In the first section Explore Cocktails, users are able to see the alphabetical list of cocktails or search and view them by certain criteria: Name, Ingredients, Rating, Alcoholic percentage, Type, Glassware, Preparation method and Measure. The results are displayed including a picture and a name. User can see detailed info about each by just selecting them. This full information includes:
Hereby we want to mention that all the information is sources from the high quality sources and presented according to International Bartender Association standards. The database includes all the 60 classical cocktails, famous from the early beginnings of the cocktails history and several more. This data is expanding from day to day and will cover all the existing and famous drinks available. Cocktail Suggestion is another very interesting feature from this kind of application. Depending on the 4 basic personal and environmental issues selected by user, program offers the list of mostly suited cocktails for the given criteria. This is very handy feature for specific times when a person doesn t exactly know what he/she would like to drink, so he/she can choose from the cocktails generated straightforward. User friendly interface makes it easiest to use. Favorites place where user favourite cocktails are stored. So he/she can access them straight.
Drinking Rules Summary of general rules that are important for responsible drinking. Glossary definitions for basic bar terminology. Measure Converter Very easy and useful feature which converts liquid volumes among 4 measuring units.
Forum Place where users can exchange their opinions about this or that matter related to cocktails life. Share their impressions and give each other helpful advices. Settings Place where name and date of birth of user are stored. Program is monitoring the age for the further restrictions to apply. Users should be above the drinking age to be able to use the program.
Summary In all to summarise all the above: As lots of people like to enjoy different kinds of alcoholic and nonalcoholic mixed drinks at least once a week, the program is very handy and demanded accessory. It provides the user with the data that would assist in choosing a perfect cocktail for him/her, viewing the picture and recipe. Best thing is that since now users will be able to get to know to the cocktails and do them at home or at parties their selves; Send these recipes to each other by SMS and share their impressions using a rating system and a forum. At last to mention, the application is for mobiles which therefore underlines its mobility and usefulness (because in the bars we can barely find PC-s to search for a specific cocktail info).
