All food is made fresh in-house and our seafood is all sourced locally making it of the freshest quality possible. We resource our seafood from local vendors and acquire local and indigenous produce to showcase the island s cuisine. Creative American classic dishes are also available. We can cater to groups seeking to hold private events as small as 6 to as large as 300. our history CafE Exile, late 1970s preview lounge, 1960s Ship Wreck Lounge, mid 1970s mangoes, 2001 the tropics, 1970s The corner of 700 Duval and Angela street, has been home to serval restaurants and night clubs since the end of World War II, including the Preview Lounge, The Tropics / Topless Nighty ( featuring live nude girls ), the Ship Wreck Lounge, Café Exile and most recently Mangoes. The current owners and operators are the father and son team of Daniel and Jack Dingeman. Daniel and his father, Captain Jack, sailed into Key West in 1992 for a sailboat race, and never left. Captain Jack has sailed off into the sunset, Daniel s son Jack joined the operation in 2016. A complete renovation of the entire facility occurred in 2016. Where once stood a package liquor store, an adult entertainment stages, now stands an indoor/outdoor dining room, the beautiful outdoor Star Light lounge and the main bistro outdoor dining and cocktail bar.
