BACON FOOD TRUCK VENDOR PACKAGE On behalf of Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale and Covenant House Florida, I would like to extend the opportunity to your business to participate in the 3 rd Annual BACON BASH as one of the featured bacon or pork dish vendors. This event will raise funds for two local charities: Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale and Covenant House Florida. The mission of Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale is to build and nurture a vibrant community connected by the New River through activation and participation. Covenant House Florida is a residential crisis shelter for homeless, at-risk and runaway youth under the age of 21, including moms and their babies. To achieve these goals, we each host a number of fundraising events. The goal of this free event is to bring together residents, businesses, visitors and bacon lovers of all ages for a day of bacon goodness, fundraising, and fun. Supporters and passers-by can purchase bacon and pork specialties from some of South Florida s best eateries and vote for their choice for the Best Bacon Dish and Most Creative Use of Bacon awards. For a $30 prepaid donation ($35 day of the event) guests can sample beverages and small bites from our VIP area. There will also be a cash bar available outside the VIP area with a limited selection of beverages for purchase. Attendees will also enjoy entertainment and fun activities for all ages throughout the day. Promotion for the event will include: Full page ad in Go Riverwalk magazine Event listing on GoRiverwalk.com and CovenantHouseFL.org webpages Promotions on Facebook and multiple social media platforms, as well as e-blasts Flyers and posters will be distributed around Downtown, beach venues and throughout Fort Lauderdale and surrounding cities Event banner hung at major intersection in downtown Fort Lauderdale Press releases and listings on multiple online calendars Please consider the package outlined on the following pages. (details below) Individual portions of bacon or pork infused food items to sell from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Offer at least one bacon or pork item for $5 or under (please disclose what this item will be prior the event) Necessary napkins, paper plates and utensils Staff to cook, serve and sell food Sufficient cash (change) for sales; Bacon Bash will not provide change Promote the event on your website or through social media and with postcards and/or posters at your business prior to the event Hand washing station and additional utensils as required by the Health Department. If cooking on site- a valid fire extinguisher, appropriate with the type of cooking you will be doing ( A fire extinguisher is required for each food booth. If a propane tank is used for a fuel source, it must be secured on the outside of the booth. A Fire inspection is required for all food booths, City of Fort Lauderdale) Set up by 11:00 a.m. for fire inspection (if cooking) or by 12:00 p.m. (if not cooking) the day of the event. BFTV 3

Please read the following details and sign below indicating your understanding of the rules and regulations: 1. In order to participate in Bacon Bash, all three Liability Certificates must be received by September 26 th. 2. Your designated parking space will be given to you the day of the event. 3. Vendors must be set up no later than 11:00 am for inspections. If your food truck does not pass the Health or Fire inspections you will not be allowed to participate. 4. All participants MUST also be a part of the competition. 5. All competitors MUST offer ONE BACON ITEM for $5 or less. This is the ONE item that you will be judged by. 6. Competitors may offer a menu beyond the one bacon item but it must remain with the event them of bacon/pork/pig dishes. 7. For the safety of attendees and staff, vendors may not break down or drive out until 5:00pm. 8. Vendors must keep all items within 15 of their truck, with respect for other vendors. 9. The park has limited electrical hook up spaces. Electric must be approved and scheduled in advance. Extension cords will not be provided. 10. Vendors are permitted to bring a generators. If you will be bringing a generator, please make note of this on your application. 11. Parking spaces will be assigned to each food truck. If you have a trailer pulled by a vehicle, parking for your vehicle will not be provided. Vendors with a vehicle separate from a trailer are responsible for finding their own parking for their vehicles outside of the festival perimeter; standard parking rates apply. Vehicles (other than food trucks) may not be parked within the festival perimeter. If this happens, the vehicle will be towed at the owner s expense. 12. Vendors must remain operational until 5:00 pm. 13. No obscene, degrading, or offensive material is to be displayed at the event. 14.
