The Wolf s Lair (Downstairs Bar) The Lair seats 25, however we do not take bookings in the evening due to the size of the Lair. If you are interested in a lunch function please see the buffet or set Menu s below, otherwise just pop in early and grab a table. The Treetops (Rooftop) We have several areas available; however only two areas will be booked at any one time; The Nest is private area with its own couch, bar and umbrella and holds 12 comfortably Area 1 is at the southern end of the terrace and holds approx 15 Area 2 is at the northern end of the terrace in the western corner and holds approx 15 Area 3 includes the Nest and several other tables and can hold approx 25 Area 4 includes Area 3 and 2 and can hold approx 40. Anything over 65 requires booking the entire Treetops and we have function and finger food packages to suit, so let s have a chat. Booking Information for the Treetops For groups of less than 15 we do not take bookings so get in early to reserve your table. For groups over 15 we have two options; Option One: Groups that do not require a designated area; feel free to spread out across the Treetops various tables and enjoy a drink and snacks no deposit or minimum spend, however no guarantee of space Option Two: Groups that do require a designated, cordoned off area we charge a $10 per person non refundable minimum spend deposit. (the minimum deposit is $200.00). o For Example: 15 to 20 Guests $200.00 non refundable minimum spend deposit 42 Guests $420.00 non refundable minimum spend deposit The minimum spend deposit will be credited off one (1) tab at the end of the evening if multiple tabs are run. You can order directly off the Menu on the night with no pre-ordering required. Wine List A copy of our extensive Wine list is available at your request including Wines, Beers and Ciders (which can be ordered beforehand). As outlined below drinks are available on Consumption or through a Drinks Package which includes the Jimmy Watson range of Sparkling Wines, Red and White Table Wines, Beers and soft drinks. Transport A public car park (charges apply) is located directly behind the Restaurant with both Bus and Tram stops opposite. Taxi s can be hailed from both Lygon and Elgin Streets. Jimmy Watson s encourages the Responsible Service of Alcohol and reserves the right to restrict consumption of Alcohol on the night. Booking Confirmation Please complete the attached Booking Confirmation form and return to us with your final numbers and we will take a non-refundable $10 per head deposit to secure the booking and this amount will be deducted from the (single) final bill on the evening. Restaurant Rights Jimmy Watson s, Wolfs Lair and Thin Red Line accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to any property belonging to the client or the client s guests. We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to exclude or remove any undesirable persons from the function or premises without liability. The client shall conduct the function in an orderly manner and in full compliance with the rules of the management and in accordance will all applicable laws. Your event will come to a close at the pre-arranged time, and your account will need to be finalised by credit card, cash or bank cheque. All guests will be required to vacate, unless otherwise arranged. Your function will be contained to the area or space booked. Confirmation & Payment For all catering, including beverage packages (if applicable), we require notification for the confirmed number of guests no later than 72 hours prior to the event. Once confirmed, this will be the minimum number catered and charged for. Any additional guests will be charged accordingly. Balance of Payment is required at the close of your event unless otherwise arranged with a functions manager. Credit Card Payments incur a 1.5% surcharge. Cancellation Policy Outside 60 days Full Refund Within 60 to 30 days The paid deposit amount may be transferred for use to book another event. This credit must be used within 12 months of booking date. Within 30 to 7 days No refund. Deposit is forfeited. Within 7 days Catering will be charged based on number of guests booked.
