THE FILTER COFFEE SENSATION Is it making a come-back? Well it never really went away. But now it is no longer hiding away: Look! Filter coffee in the same design as our new generation of automatic coffee machines. The perfect match and addition to the range. Refined aluminium side walls (anodised and shot blasted), robust touch display made of high-strength polycarbonate, ABS filter unit (dishwasher safe), painted stainless steel front: The Melitta Cafina XT180 reveals itself with an elegant profile, which looks appealing to hosts and guests and brings the coffee experience to life. With or without water supply connection, with glass jug (1.8 litres/15 cups) or insulated jug (1.9-2.2 litres), brews up to 125 cups of fresh filter coffee per hour.
CLEVER COMFORT What is important to the filter coffee professional? We have reviewed our classic, the M 170, and completely redeveloped it. Many useful functions make the Melitta Cafina XT180 a real eye-catcher with some clear advantages. ABSOLUTE CLARITY It s fun to use: the robust touch display made of high-strength polycarbonate combines all functions easy to understand with illuminated symbols (LCD operator panel, LED signals). QUANTITY SELECTION Full jug: 15 cups! Here you can choose your quantities (only with water supply connection) and check the filling level. BRING ON THE WATER! You choose: fill manually or automatically via a water supply connection. STOP AND GO! Jug in, jug out: the jug detector automatically stops and interrupts the brewing process. The drip stop shuts and opens the filter outlet. PROGRAMME TO TASTE The programme button offers more options: you can pre-brew the coffee first so the ground coffee can swell up releasing a more intense aroma at the end. And you can set the heating period. When this has expired, the machine automatically switches to stand-by mode, saving electricity. MILD OR STRONG? How strong do you want your coffee to taste? The patented AromaSelector allows you to vary the strength. This changes the flow of water and therefore the amount of time it is in contact with the coffee grounds.
NO CHANCE OF LIMESCALE If the display lights up in red, too much limescale has built up. Fill with at least 5 cups of descaling solution and press the red display - the descaling programme will begin! SAVE ELECTRICITY Eco Switch: the O-watt switch also turns off the illuminated display. LISTEN UP If you wish, you can have something to listen to: the Melitta Cafina XT180 emits acoustic signals, for example when the maximum water quantity has been filled or the brewing has finished or been interrupted.
