SPRING BREAK WILL BEGIN FRIDAY, MARCH 25 TH APRIL 3 RD SCHOOL WILL RESUME MONDAY, APRIL 4TH

The "Be Great, Not Late" tardy challenge begins April 4th! First hour classes with the best on time attendance advance to the next round, and the winning class at the end of the 6 week competition will win breakfast!

VOCAL JAZZ: There will be NO VOCAL JAZZ rehearsal this week. Golden Gals and Gold Vibrations will resume Wednesday rehearsals after Spring Break, so please plan accordingly.

CONCERT CHOIR 2016-17: Students that requested Concert Choir for the 2016-17 school year must audition this week during PRIDE. Information about auditions was sent to your school email last week. Please check your school email and see Mrs. Kauffeld in the choir room if you have questions.

GIRLS SPORTS LOCKERS: If you are not in a Spring sport, you MUST CLEAR OUT your Sports Locker in the Girls Locker Room ASAP

NATIONAL BUSINESS HONOR SOCIETY: National Business Honor Society will be a new honor s organization that will begin in the 2016-17 school year. To be eligible you need to have taken 3 Business or Marketing classes, have a 3.5 GPA (not weighted), and have a 3.5 GPA in Business or Marketing classes. If you would like to apply, stop by Mrs. Tillema (room 234), Mrs. Stefan (room 213), or Mrs. Starke- White (room 216) for an application. Application are due by May 6.

OHS WALL OF FAME: The OHS Wall of Fame selection committee has chosen Dr. Brad Riemann as our 2016 Wall of Fame Award recipient. Dr. Riemann was chosen for this award because he exemplifies our vision, mission, and values as well as the award criteria of making a significant contribution to mankind. He was chosen for his contribution to the health of our local community, particularly the impact he has made with people that experience anxiety that may not be able to afford treatment otherwise. He has given back to our community through youth and charity events, supports people with mental illness, and has built strong relationships with our community. Dr. Riemann will be designing an all-school Pride Period offering for April 19th that students will be able to attend to meet him and learn more about his work. Watch for more details coming soon!

YEARBOOK SCHOLARSHIP: Any seniors who are currently in yearbook or have taken it in the past are eligible for the OHS Yearbook Scholarship. Forms can be picked up in Mrs. Stefan s room and are due back TODAY, Thursday, March 24.

PROM TICKETS: MIDNIGHT MASQUERADE Attention Seniors and Juniors, don t forget prom tickets ($85) to the Milwaukee Art Museum are on sale now through the Webstore until TODAY March 24th! Prom is Saturday, April 30 th. Table sign ups in room 140 near the main office during lunch!

TERM 3 SHOWCASE: Showcase will be held all day on THURSDAY, MARCH 24th in our Little Theatre--and the theme for this Term s show is SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE! Tickets are $1 Please report to your classes FIRST on the day of Showcase attendance will be taken, you will be given a ticket, and then come down to sit with your class/group in the Little Theatre!

ALICE=PAUL: Donate toiletries to women in need! Hebron House shelters women who have had to flee from abusive homes and other horrible situations. Unable to bring anything with them, these women need YOUR help! They are in need of feminine products, hair brushes, deodorant, body wash and shampoo. Please donate what you can thru Thursday, March 24 th. Your first hour teacher will have a bin to collect all donations. The class that collects the most donations will win a pizza party from Alice=Paul

REMINDER: All students must present their school ID for rental of a chromebook or ipad from the Library.

FILM FESTIVAL: "Don t forget to purchase your tickets to the first ever Lake Country Film Festival held on April 8 th in the OAC! Tickets can be purchased for $15 (service charge may apply) through the OAC box office. - first come first serve -audience will take an active part in voting on winners for each category -audience will see all the top films and be able to witness the creative products showcased -audience will be present as the awards are given to Best in each category MUCH, MUCH MORE!

HONOR ROLL CERTIFICATES: Term 2 Honor Roll Certificates are available at the main office/switchboard. High Honor is 3.7 and above and Honor is 3.3-3.69 GPA.

BREAKFAST CART: We have a breakfast cart being run by Phillip & Brady. The hours are 7 a.m.-8:30 a.m. Monday- Friday. They are serving all sorts of pastries, coffee, bagels, granola bars, fruit cups & yogurt parfaits.

PARKING SIGN IN: If you do not have a parking permit, you are allowed to park up to 5 times free during the 1 st Semester which ends January 22 nd and an additional 5 free times during the 2 nd Semester. You MUST sign your vehicle in on the clipboard at the switchboard if you do not have a Permit.

Please only use the locker that has been assigned to you. If you are unsure of your assignment, feel free to stop by the main office/switchboard to find out your locker number. Also please only use DISTRICT ISSUED LOCKS OR YOUR LOCK WILL BE CUT OFF.

2014-15 YEARBOOKS: If you purchased a 2014-15 Yearbook and did not pick it up at our Material Pick Up day, please stop by the switchboard/main office and pick it ASAP. 2015-16 YEARBOOKS: 2015-2016 Yearbooks can be purchased online through the Webstore.
