The organisers will endeavor to describe each lot accurately and comprehensively, but it is the responsibility of the bidders to satisfy themselves as to the condition of the bottles. 2. Bidders need to register with the organisers beforehand. 3. All lots will be able to be viewed from 5.30pm at the auction venue. 4. All lots have a reserve price. Bidders will be told whether the reserve has been met or not during the course of the bidding. 5. A commission of 20% will be paid by the seller on hammer price. 6. 13 14 15 Glenglassaugh 19yo One of the last official bottlings from former owners Edrington Group before the distillery changed hands, this 19yo was distilled in 1986, the year the distillery was mothballed. Glenglassaugh Massandra Collection 1973 39yo Muscat Finished in single cask previously used for Muscat Wine. The cask itself is from the Massandra winery in Crimea, which has been producing wine for more than 110 years. 44.1% ABV. Bottle 304 of 308. Glenglassaugh Massandra Collection 1973 39yo Aleatico Finished in a barrel previously used for Aleatico wine. The influence of such a sweet wine, gives the whisky a sweet, fruity taste. 50.7% ABV. Now now discontinued, 'the Beist' was an extremely popular Ardbeg, with assertive and powerful peatiness and a lovely honeyed edge. Ardbeg Renaissance This is the first 10-year old Ardbeg that is entirely comprised of spirit produced after Glenmorangie's takeover of the distillery in 1997. Ardbeg Supernova 2009 This has been a phenomenon since the Advance Committee Release sold out in a matter of hours back in January 2009. This is the peatiest Ardbeg ever at over 100ppm. Caol Ila 25yo Introduced in 2010, after cask strength versions in 2004 and 2005, this is the first officially-bottled Caol Ila 25yo to be bottled at 43%.
