Come and experience our renowned southern hospitality! Room Rates are $89.00 per night. Current state and local tax is 9.25% and hotel/motel Tax is 8%. There is plenty of FREE parking. Call 1-800-872-2529 to make reservations. Reservations should be made as early as possible but must be made not later than 22 September, 2013. Reservations after this date will be on an as available basis. Handicap rooms are available and especially these reservations should be made early. Irons and Ironing boards & coffee makers are located in each room. Refrigerators are available for a charge of $15.00 per day. There is no charge after the 5th day. A beauty parlor is located in the same block as the hotel (across the street). Chattanooga is served by Allegiant, American, Delta and US Air and the hotel has complimentary shuttle service. Please give the hotel your flight # and date when you make your reservation or as soon thereafter as possible. The downtown shuttle service is located right next to the hotel. This is a FREE service that will get you to all downtown businesses and restaurants. If there is enough interest, a shopping trip to one of the largest malls in Tennessee will be arranged on Monday or Tuesday. Anyone that requires oxygen service should make arrangements through their local supplier to make sure there is a dealer in Chattanooga. (Cold and rainy to warm and sunny.) Chattanooga has no passenger railroad service. 1-75, 1-59 and 1-24 are the major highways that serve Chattanooga. DRIVING DIRECTIONS 1. To get to Chattanooga from the West - Take 1-40 to Nashville, then I -24 to Chattanooga, take exit 178, keep left on the ramp and go to the stop sign. Turn left and go straight through the traffic light to the stop sign and turn left. Continue on Market street until you come to the Choo-Choo on the right. 2. To get to Chattanooga from the North (Central) take 1-65 or I-24to Nashville and proceed as described in (1) above. 3. To get to Chattanooga from the Southwest - take I-10 to Mobile then 1-59 to 1-24 (East) then proceed as described in (1) above.
4. To get to Chattanooga from the North (East) take 1-81 to 1-40 to Knoxville. Then Take 1-75 South to Chattanooga. Take 1-24 (West) to exit 178 (Market street North). Stay on Market until you come to the Choo-Choo on the right. 5. To get to Chattanooga from the South Take 1-75 North to 1-24 and proceed as described in (4) above. When the "Plans of the Day" are firmed up we will plan some outings/tours. Which will include; The incline Railway (steepest in the world), the Tennessee Aquarium (one of the nicest in the USA). was the largest when it was built. The Chattanooga Ducks; tour by land/water of wildlife sanctuary. Subject to change depending on time available. We are still working on mobility carts but there are not as many rentals as there were in Reno.
