MonteBrujas ava 100% Colombian Coffee

MonteBrujas ava A Coffee Brand that Captivates your Senses Montebrujas Káva Coffee is the result of a family-based Company that has more than 25 years of experience in coffee farming. Through its brand Montebrujas Káva, the Company is specialized in searching and cultivating coffee microlots of special varieties and unique characteristics throughout Colombia. Our main objective is to offer a set of Colombian coffee cuppings with extraordinary characteristics.

SANTANDER ORIGEN We introduce our Santander origin from La Cabaña s farm, which is located in the municipality of Palmas del Socorro, department of Santander, Colombia. This department is considered to be one of the very first coffee producing areas of the country, located in the Oriental Cordillera and characterized by soils of marine origin. PALMAS DEL SOCORRO

WATERSHED Coffee cultivation takes place in the river basin of Montebrujas creek at a height of 1600 to 1750 OSL, with healthy practices of protection of hydrographic watershed, which preserve ecosystem and let new species of fauna and flora establish in this region. Coffee is produced under criteria of international sustainability 4c Association and Rainforest Alliance.

BIODIVERSITY The cultivation of coffee in the shadow improves the edaphological and climatic conditions (soil, water and air) and allows the generation of microclimates inside the coffee fields. In this way, it helps conserve biodiversity with major quantity of species, bees, mammals and insects.

PROCESS CONTROL Control from germination and seed elaboration in the hacienda to the commercialization, guaranteeing quality step by step.

CULTIVATION UNDER SHADE Due to the geographic localization, in the dry season clouds are less and solar radiation increases, thus forcing to establish suitable plantation that gives shadow in order to protect the development of coffee plants.

SLOW RIPENING Cultivation in the shadow allows a slow ripening of the fruit without the accelerating process of solar direct effect. In this way, the fruit can develop the maximum Brix grade and give as result a coffee of higher quality and better taste.

GRAIN SELECTION Special Coffee Montebrujas Káva is a handcraft product and selected carefully by hand, grain after grain, in order to assure an excellent quality to the final consumer.

RECOLLECTION The duties in our hacienda such as preparation of the soil, seeding, planting, maintenance, recollection and processing of coffee, are carried out by local people.

COFFEE STUDY We carry out coffee cuppings and elaborate roasting curves in order to enhance the best coffee characteristics.

QUALITY CONTROL In order to assure control process, green coffee grains are assessed before passing on the rosting phase

WASHED PROCESS COFFEE HONEY PROCESS COFFEE NATURAL PROCESS COFFEE PACKAGING Our coffee is packaged in trilaminar packages with a degassing valve for a better conservation. Presentations in 500 gr, 340 gr and 250 gr,

ARAMELCARAMEL CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE CINNAMON CINNAMON In Montebrujas we know that special coffees are like the best wines, its aroma, fragrance and flavor depends on the geographical location, variety, height of the crop, type of soil (terroir), solar radiation, profit, among many others. EMONLEMON This is the reason why we work with coffee plantations of other origins in Colombia, such as Quindio, Huila and Nariño, and with different coffee varieties like Geisha, Mokka, Bourbon, Caturra, ALNUTS WALNUTS Tabi, Typica y Pacamara. We look for the best combination of all the variables to obtain the best coffees UECESNUECES
