But the simple formula of a spirit, a little sugar and some bitters diluted with water, in our case stirred with ice, can be applied t o any type of spirit. In honor of this timeless classic, we are unlocking the Old Fashioned and featuring new variations we ve cooked up including combinations with gin, rum, apple brandy, tequila, and, of course, rye and bourbon whiskies.
