LOCAL ISLAND EXCURSION Visiting a local island is also a combined excursion option. During the visit on Hithadhoo, a local island nearby to Six Senses Laamu, you can have a walk around the streets and get a glimpse of the Maldivian way of life. A visit inside a local home can also be arranged, should you wish to experience the true Maldivian way of life. SUNSET DOLPHIN CRUISE Beautiful, intelligent animals that have held the fascination of people for centuries, dolphins often make their way through Laamu atoll at sunrise and sunset. Our most popular excursion has you boarding a dhoni (a traditional Maldivian boat) for a tour of the Laamu atoll as the sun slips below the horizon.
