The Midnight Bell (Holbeck, Leeds) the Lamb & Flag (Kirkgate, Leeds) and the Eagle & Child (High Petergate, York) each have unique, characterful and versatile spaces. Lamb & Flag A restored 19th century building which mixes warm exposed brickwork, big open windows, high ceilings and oak beams with contemporary design and quality products. A stone s throw from Leeds Minster, the Lamb & Flag offers the perfect backdrop to any event. From an idyllic wedding setting, birthdays and BBQ s to team training days, we can cater for all with our function spaces. Our boardroom, located on the ground floor of the pub with private doors to our extensive courtyard, can host up to 20 people for a sit down meal or 35 people for a buffet. Perfect for intimate parties and business meetings. Our courtyard beer garden is home to a purpose built BBQ area making it an ideal location for any summer event. Alternatively, exclusive use of our first floor includes a private bar and balcony area with a beautiful view of Leeds Minster. Eagle & Child Built in 1640 our Grade II* listed timber framed pub is a picture postcard example of what makes York so special. With stunning views of the York Minster, the Eagle & Child really sets the atmosphere for any occasion. Situated just inside the Bootham Bar, we are a short walk away from the York Registrar s Office making it a perfect wedding venue. Our ground floor dining room is a well-lit and spacious area, perfect for those wanting a small get together or a standing buffet. Our first floor dining room hosts up to 30 people and has stunning views of York Minster from our bay windows that overlook Peter Gate. Benefitting from an adjoining dining room that has direct access to the courtyard, hosting up to a further 20 people for larger events. The top floor of The Eagle & Child is home to our private bar, a truly unique setting spread over three quirky rooms catering for up to 50 people. The Midnight Bell Located at the heart of the Round Foundry, part of the fashionable Holbeck Urban Village, The Midnight Bell balances ancient brickwork with light and airy big windows and a modern architectural touch. The Midnight Bell was s first pub, opened in May 2007 in what is reputedly the oldest set of industrial buildings in the world. The Midnight Bell has played host to numerous show stopping events including private dining, wedding receptions, corporate BBQ s and courtyard beer festivals. Our beautiful courtyard is one of the best in Leeds with a capacity of up to 200 guests. To utilise its full potential we have the option of marquee hire with prices depending on your desired size and specifications. On the ground floor our snug area has a feeling of intimacy without losing the bustle and atmosphere of the pub. It hosts up people and is perfect for buffets, business lunches or after-work drinks. Our upstairs private dining room is extremely versatile. If you are planning a sit down meal the venue can host up to 40 guests, with the tables arranged to your preference. However if you would like to have a buffet we can easily accommodate up to 80 guests. Our varied selection includes locally brewed cask ale, craft beer, draught and bottled ciders, lagers, wines, champagne, prosecco, spirits, nonalcoholic beers and soft drinks. You can pre-order drinks with us before your event, please speak to our events co-ordinator for more details. In addition to this, we provide the opportunity for you to purchase your own cask of Leeds Brewery ale.
