A touch of History & Personality History: In May 1848, the construction of the first National Theatre in Bucharest started and it was inaugurated on 31st of December 1852. During World War II, the theatre was bombarded and most of it was destroyed in 1944. In September 2006 the first Novotel in Romania opened its gates.
