2009 ant reserve pinot noir central otago Ant Moore Reserve Pinot Noir VINTAGE: 2009 GRAPES: Pinot Noir 1.5 2 tonne/acre Percentage: 100% ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Central Otago, New Zealand Percentage: 100% ANALYSIS: Alcohol: 14 % GENERAL INFORMATION: The fruit for the final blend selected for the Reserve Pinot Noir was sourced from the Alexandra Basin and Gibbston Valley area and was a variety of 777, 5 and 115 Clones. There were 50 individual pinot noir ferments that were kept separate based on their vineyard clone and wine making techniques and then aged in French barriques (225L) that were one year old. There was a mix of coopers (Taransaud, Cadus, Ermitage and St Martin) and the majority in a medium toast to impart a fine, oak flavour that integrated and enhanced the wine rather than overpowered it. The wine was matured for 14 months. Keeping the ferments separate enabled me to only select the top barrels for my first Reserve Pinot Noir. The grapes went through a 7 day cold soak and then fermented for 7 days with a variety of yeasts before 8-10 days of post ferment maceration. Individual ferments were tasted daily and decisions were made depending on taste. ph: 3.7 Acid: 6.5 grams /L <1 grams/l Deep mahogany red A delicate nose that is deepening with time in the bottle. Tobacco, red berry fruit and earthiness on the nose. Combining great intensity and luscious pinot fruit characters, with dense savoury structure, this is a wine that opens up to reveal layers of complexity. Fleshy and meaty with sweet primary red fruits, savoury earth and spice. This is my first Reserve Pinot Noir and was selected from the top eight barrels. It is a wine that will develop with age in the bottle and I think from 2-4 years will see the richness of the fruit open up and melt with the tannins and oak to create a wine I am looking forward to with anticipation. With vineyards situated in the Waihopai, Awatere and Upper Wairau areas of Marlborough, New Zealand, Ant Moore wines are generally more restrained with minerality, complexity and great balance. Control and hands-on management of the vineyards and the wine making process, creates rich wines, with ripe flavours and texture and fresh lifted aromas, signatures of the Marlborough terrier.

2010 ant pinot noir central otago Ant Moore Pinot Noir VINTAGE: 2010 GRAPES: Pinot Noir 2 tonne/acre Percentage: 100% ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Central Otago, New Zealand Percentage: 100% 2010 was an exceptional growing year in Central Otago, giving flavoursome and very ripe grapes to produce a great Pinot Noir. This wine contains a mixture of clones, 667, 777, 114, and Able. 100% oak aged in French oak from a number of coopers and varying age. ANALYSIS: Alcohol: 14.2 % ph: 3.42 Acid: 6.3 grams /L < 1 grams/l GENERAL INFORMATION: Cherry ripe red. Complex layers of red berry fruit, raspberry, cherry and blackberry. Hints of earthy tones and forest floor, and lovely toasted oak. Raspberry, cherry, supple game flavour, with strong ripe and smooth tannins. Finishing with the slightest hint of integrated oak. Warm and moorish...complex. This Central Otago Pinot Noir is robust and rich and brimming with classic Pinot fruits. This wine will improve with age and should be decanted allowing time to open up and reveal the layers within. This Classic Pinot will change dramatically over time and reward those with patience. With the low cropped fruit, left on the vine to gain true flavour ripeness, this Pinot Noir, is rich, complex and balanced. It is an opulent Pinot that displays all the characters for which Central Otago is famous.

2014 PINOT NOIR MARLBOROUGH NZ Ant Moore Pinot Noir VINTAGE: 2014 GRAPES: Organic Pinot Noir Percentage: 100% ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Marlborough Percentage: 100% Produced at our Organic Estate in the Wairau Valley. This fruit was harvested in April 2014 in several batches. Each were treated and fermented separately. After a long period maceration the wine was put to barrel was it was matured for 10 months. ANALYSIS: Alcohol: 13% ph: 3.67 Acid: 5.7 grams /L 1.5 grams/l Deep and rich crimson. Complex layers of red berry fruit, raspberry, cherry and blackberry. Hints of earthy tones and forest floor, and lovely toasted oak. Blackberry, plum, pepper, liquorice and leather are great descriptors for this wine. Subtle oak and full tannin structure gives roundness which lingers on the palate. This wine was a pleasure to make, having access to high quality impeccable fruit makes the winemaking easy and very enjoyable to make. GENERAL INFORMATION: With the low cropped fruit, left on the vine to gain true flavour ripeness, This Pinot Noir, is rich, complex and balanced. It is an opulent Pinot that displays all the characters for which Central Otago is famous.

2015 SAUVIGNON BLANC MARLBOROUGH NZ Ant Moore Sauvignon Blanc VINTAGE: 2015 GRAPES: Sauvignon Blanc Percentage: 100% ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Marlborough Percentage: 100% Low yields; hand harvested; whole bunch pressed. Fermented in old oak predominantly and aged on lees allowing natural malolatic fermentation with very little winemaker intervention. ANALYSIS: Alcohol: 13% ph: 3.25 Acid: 7.1 grams /L 3.4 grams/l Crystal clear with light golden hue. An attractive bouquet of crushed fresh herbs, grapefruit and tropical island fruits. The palate weight is generously balanced with lovely and fine crisp acidity that gives this wine elegance and grace. The palate expresses hues of gooseberry, juicy passionfruit with a lemon twist. Winemakers Comments: The 2015 vintage had the one of the driest growing seasons experienced in Marlborough. With this minimal rain fall and above average day time temperatures, subsequently the wines are outstanding with punchy aromas and deliciously intense palate weight and flavour. Ant Moore wines are generally more restrained with minerality, complexity and great balance. Control and hands-on management of the vineyards and the winemaking process created rich wines, with ripe flavours, good texture and fresh lifted aromas. Signatures of the Marlborough terroir. white meats such as chicken or veal especially if accompanied by a creamy sauce or with spring vegetables.

2015 PINOT GRIS MARLBOROUGH NZ Ant Moore Pinot Gris VINTAGE: 2015 GRAPES: Pinot Gris Percentage: 100% ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Marlborough Percentage: 100% With grapes sourced from Ants Nest Vineyard. The vines were planted in 2004 and are pruned on a VSP 2-cane system. This wine was fermented as three different batches in the winery. Each batch has had a different treatment. Cool ferments, lees stirring and indigenous yeast have produced a very complex and interesting wine with finesse and balance and good mid palate weight. ANALYSIS: Alcohol: 13% ph: 3.4 Acid: 6.5 grams /L 5.5 grams/l GENERAL INFORMATION: Pale in colour with a golden tone. This Pinot Gris is concentrated and shows plenty of punch. Aromas of pears, apricot and hints of lemon curd on the nose. The palate is general, full and rich showing the natural ripeness of the fruit harvested. There is lots of intensity in this wine and it has been a pleasure to make for you. Ant The 2015 Vintage was exciting for Marlborough after an exceptionally hot summer; the vintage was a winemakers dream. This is an elegant and minerally Pinot Gris with aromas of stone fruits such as nectarine and peach. The palate is balanced, weighty, viscous and creamy characters with concentrated fruit notes and a fine acidity. The wine has a long and clean finish.

2013 CHARDONNAY MARLBOROUGH NZ Ant Moore Chardonnay VINTAGE: 2013 GRAPES: Chardonnay Percentage: 100% ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Marlborough Percentage: 100% Low yields; hand harvested; whole bunch pressed. Fermented in old oak predominantly and aged on lees allowing natural malolatic fermentation with very little winemaker intervention. ANALYSIS: Alcohol: 13.5% ph: 3.4 Acid: 5.9 grams /L 1.1 grams/l Pale straw yellow. Aromas of dried Apricots, tobacco and citrus, the concentration on the nose is delightful. The palate is rich and rounded with a long line and balance acidity. An unctuous palate that with each sip the wine lingers. The subtle use of French oak has enabled to wine to feel warming and yet fruit dominated at the same time. Pairs beautifully with smoked chicken pasta, antipasto platter and roasted pork belly.

2010 ant chardonnay marlborough VINTAGE: 2010 Ant Moore Chardonnay GRAPES: Chardonnay Percentage: 100% ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Marlborough, New Zealand Percentage: 100% ANALYSIS: Alcohol: 13.5 % Low yields; hand harvested; whole bunch pressed. Fermented in old oak predominantly and aged on lees allowing natural malolactic fermentation with very little wine maker intervention. ph: 3.26 Acid: 6.1 grams /L 1.5 grams/l Pale in colour with a golden tone. Ripe citrus notes, stone fruit and blossoms Great fruit with ripe citrus, peach and blossom notes, combined with 18 months on lees in old oak have produced soft fine acid length to compliment the smooth subtle toast and nut characters. Layers of fruit and secondary savoury characters make this a wine of true interest with intensity and depth. We selected barrels based on characters and individuality for which we were searching. Some had great natural acidity and was left in oak for 18 months and developed savoury and mineral notes. Other barrels were chosen as they offered bright fruit such as white peach, and melon, with a riper character to balance the fine minerality and secondary characters. This approach has allowed us to create something more interesting, with greater depth and balance via the assemblage. Very much a case of a wine that is greater than the sum of its parts. The Spinner will continue to age gracefully and develop greater complexity and richness for the next 2-4 years. Paring food: Carbonara pasta. Grilled Chicken Breast with a mushroom creamy sauce and asparagus on the side.

The Spinner - Chardonnay Marlborough - New Zealand VINTAGE: Ant Moore The Spinner Chardonnay NV GRAPES: Chardonnay Percentage: 100% ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Marlborough, New Zealand Percentage: 100% ANALYSIS: Alcohol: 13.5 % Low yields; hand harvested; whole bunch pressed. Fermented in old oak predominantly and aged on lees allowing natural malolatic fermentation with very little winemaker intervention. ph: 3.26 Acid: 6.1 grams /L 1.5 grams/l Pale in colour with a golden tone. Ripe citrus notes, stone fruit and blossoms. Great fruit with ripe citrus, peach and blossom notes, combined with 18 months on lees in old oak have produced soft fine acid length to compliment the smooth subtle toast and nut characters. Layers of fruit and secondary savoury characters make this a wine of true interest with intensity and depth. The Spinner is a blend of 2 vintages; barriques were selected based on their unique characters and individuality, after extended barrel maturation. The 2010 selection displayed natural fine acidity with savoury and mineral notes. This complemented the 2011 selection which offered flavours of white peach and melon. Being non vintage may seem unconventional way to go, however this allowed us to utilise two very natural wines, creating something more interesting, with greater depth and balance via the assemblage. Very much a case of a wine that is greater than the sum of its parts. The Spinner will continue to age gracefully and develop greater complexity and richness for the next 2-4 years. Carbonara pasta. 2015 ROSE CENTRAL OTAGO NZ Ant Moore Rose VINTAGE: 2015 GRAPES: Pinot Noir Percentage: 100% ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Central Otago Percentage: 100% The fruit was cold soaked on its skins for 14 hours before being lightly pressed. Fermented in batched, we played around with various yeast strains and temperature. This has allowed the complexity you see in the glass. This wine is textural as well as very fruit driven. ANALYSIS: Alcohol: 12.5% ph: 3.27 Acid: 7.5 grams /L 5.5 grams/l Pink Aromas of strawberry, Turkish delight and freshly whipped cream all complement each other. The palate is slightly floral, there is a soft tannin line giving the wine structure and palate weight. We look forward to seeing how it develops over time and becomes more interesting with age. Enjoy! Please enjoy on its own or with any summer BBQ.

2012 VIOGNIER MARLBOROUGH NZ Ant Moore Viognier VINTAGE: 2012 GRAPES: Viognier Percentage: 100% ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Marlborough Percentage: 100% A small single vineyard batch of fruit was harvested at optimum ripeness. Fermented in oak on partial solids, and aged on lees with no sulphur or any additions, for a further 10 months, the wine truly is minimal intervention. A beautiful balance between primary fruit and savoury secondary characters, which displayed cheese and obvious reduction during aging, but which have now made way for the dominance of the primary fruit characters and floral notes so typical of Viognier. ANALYSIS: Alcohol: 12% ph: 3.49 Acid: 7.7 grams /L 5.5 grams/l Pale straw, bright and inviting. Intense nose, floral, rose petal, delicate and lifted with a hint of burnt match reduction underneath. Crunchy green pear with lime and apricot. Soft, rounded fruit sweetness on the front palate, with a clean dry follow through. Good intensity and weight, with a long, seamless fresh lime finish. Great balance between, delicate floral characters, fine acid minerality, and ripe sweet fruits, such as white peach, lime and apricot. With vineyards situated in the Waihopai, Awatere and Upper Wairau areas of Marlborough, New Zealand, Ant Moore wines are generally more restrained with minerality, complexity and great balance.
