QUICK START GUIDE F0 - F0 C O F F E E M A C H I N E S STARTING UP FILL IN BEAN HOPPER Fill in the required amount for daily consumption in order to keep coffee always fresh. After checking that the machine door is closed and the ground bin is inserted, press the key No. (ON/OFF) to turn ON the machine. When the set-up temperature is reached, the For machine configuration Standard or Self SELECT DRINK Warning: during this stage remove any jug with milk or any other kind of liquid from the steam wand! DISPENSING COFFEE/CAPPUCCINO DISPENSING Place a cup under the coffee dispenser, and press the desired dose key. For Shift doses, press the Key No (Shift) first and then the desired dose key. The Where indicates the selected dose key name. Pressing the same dose key during dispensing can stop the selected dose (not available for Self configuration). In case of a milk-based dose, press once to stop milk dispensing, and once again to stop coffee dispensing; the sequence depends on the type of dispensing (not available for Self configuration). HOT WATER DISPENSING Place a cup under the hot water outlet, and press the hot water key dose. Dispensing will be automatically stopped once the programmed dose is over. The HOT WATER Pressing the same dose key during dispensing may stop the selected dose (not available for Self configuration). WARNING: Handle the hot water spout with caution because it might cause burns due to high temperature. Hot water cannot be dispensed simultaneously with steam. DECAFFEINATED DISPENSING (NOT AVAILABLE FOR SELF CONFIGURATION) Place a cup under the coffee dispenser and open the decaffeinated coffee door, the display shows : Pour in the powdered coffee Close the decaffeinated door Press the desired dose key, the Where indicates that the selected dose will be dispensed without the activation of the grinders. If the decaffeinated door is not closed, or if the dose button is not selected, the machine will automatically cancel this function after 0 seconds. The coffee group will carry out a cleaning cycle of the brewing chamber. The display EXTRAMILK DISPENSING (ONLY LM MACHINE, NOT AVAILABLE FOR SELF CONFIGURATION) Press any milk-based key and keep it pressed, after seconds foamed milk will start being dispensed, the EXTRA MILK By releasing the pressed key, dispensing will be stopped. XX PLEASE WAIT

STEAM WAND USE AND CLEANING AUTOMATIC CLEANING OF COFFEE GROUP Before using the steam wand pull down the steam tap to purge the nozzle. Use the steam wand to foam or heat any liquid into the jug by handling the rubber protection. Pull up the steam tap to stop the delivery before removing the jug. Keep key No. (Clean) pressed for five seconds. For machine in SELF configuration keep key No. (ON) and (Clean) pressed for five seconds. Verify that the display shows, if not press key FOR F0: press key No. (Clean) to start the cleaning cycle. No. or to select it. FOR F0: press key No. (Clean) to select group cleaning. Group Cleaning / After using the steam wand pull down the steam tap to purge the nozzle. Clean the steam wand by means of a cloth. DO NOT leave the steam wand into any liquid at any time FOR F0: press key No. or to select group or, then press key No. (Clean) to start the cleaning cycle. Lift the machine door. Clean the group, the chute and the piston o-ring from any coffee residues. 7 Close the front door. 8 X OPEN FRONT PANEL CLOSE DOOR CLOSE DOOR WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO USE AND CLEAN THE STEAM WAND AS ABOVE SHOWN Insert the detergent tablet into the decaffeinated chute and close the cover. For machine in SELF configuration open the frond or and insert the detergent tablet into the brewing chamber, then close the door. 9 0 Wait until the cleaning cycle is over. the display will show SELECT DRINK Insert the cleanser - We suggest repeating the group cleaning cycle by using only water. - For F0 repeat group cleaning for the second group.

AUTOMATIC CLEANING OF MILK FROTHER MANUAL CLEANING OF MILK FROTHER Take the milk infeed tube out of the milk box. Prepare a solution of water and detergent (q.ty 00 ml.) Insert the milk infeed tube into a container with detergent. by following the instructions indicated in the product. Keep key No. (Clean) pressed for five seconds. For machine in SELF configuration keep key No. (ON) and (Clean) pressed for five seconds. Remove the milk frother from the coffee outlet Remove the milk frother from its holder and disconnect silicone tubes No. -- and -- Disassemble the milk frother in all its parts (first by turning and then by pulling as shown in the picture) and wash it either by hand or in a dishwasher. Make sure that all the holes are free from milk residues and that the O-rings are in good condition. FOR F0 Press key No. or to select MILKER CLEANING. Press key No. (Clean) to confirm. OTHER RECOMMENDED CLEANING rinse the drip tray in a sink. rinse the grounds bin in a sink. Once a month clean the hopper by means of a cloth and approved food detergent. MILK FROTHER CLEANER a) For F0 repeat the milk frother cleaning for the second group (if present) b) Do not interrupt the cleaning cycle. If the cleaning cycle is interrupted by any type of operation unrelated to the procedure, when the machine functioning is set back again, the cleaning cycle will automatically be activated. b) Only in case that after the automatic cleaning process the milk frother is not properly dispensing, carry out a manual cleaning; see the following steps.

MILK FROTHER ADJUSTMENT INFORMATION PROCEDURE AND DISPENSING RESET OPEN THE FRONT DOOR TO ACCESS THE FOLLOWING ADJUSTMENTS (ONLY LM MACHINE) Foam setting The milk frother is equipped with a FOAM REGULATOR which sets the quantity of air needed to froth milk. Turn the ring nut clockwise for thicker foam (small bubbles), or turn it anticlockwise for more voluminous foam (large bubbles). FOR F0 FOR F0 Milk temperature setting The milk frother is equipped with a MILK TEMPERATURE REGULATOR which reduces the quantity of sucked milk. OFF OPEN DOOR Full grounds bin alarm GROUNDS BIN FULL GROUNDS BIN OPEN Alarm of too much coffee in the brewing chamber TOO MUCH COFFEE To enter the programming environments proceed as follow: - press key No. to turn the machine OFF - keep press key No. (Clean) pressed while pressing key No. (ON/OFF); the DOSES INFORMATION SELECT BUTTON Press the key dose whose number of drinks you want to display; the GR Z K XX 0 YY YYY Where: XX indicates the name of the selected button GR Z indicates group (Left) or (Right) and K indicates the number of key. 0 YY indicates the number of cup dispensed drinks JJ indicates the number of decaffeinated dispensed drinks (only for left group). - Press the key No. (Shift). The display shows the number of Shift drinks: GR Z K XX 0 YY YYY Where: XX indicates the name of the selected button GR Z indicates group (Left) or (Right) and K indicates the number of key. 0 YY indicates the number of cup dispensed drinks JJ indicates the number of decaffeinated dispensed drinks (only for left group). EXTRAMILK CAUSE: The front door is open; the micro switch does not touch the door RESULT: Shutdown of the machine functions SOLUTION: Close the door and turn the machine ON CAUSE: Grounds bin full; the number of coffee grounds in the bin has reached the programmed value RESULT: Shutdown of the coffeebased dispensing selections SOLUTION: Remove the grounds bin and empty it, replace the grounds bin when the display CAUSE: There is too much coffee in the brewing chamber, or the piston o-ring is dirty and the piston cannot enter into the brewing chamber correctly RESULT: The machine interrupts the coffee dispensing SOLUTION: Carry out an automatic cleaning of the group number of extramilk doses that have been made. number of Group cleaning that have been made MILK CLEANING number of Milker cleaning that have been made TOTAL CASHING for all other messages please refer to your service center.
