This festive season, we have four group dining menus for you to choose from; Clásico, Ibérica, Gastronomía and, for truly memorable festive celebrations, Navidad. Our Navidad menu is inspired by a traditional Spanish Christmas feast and features showstopping sharing dishes, just like you d see on a festive family dining table in Spain. All of our group menus are available for parties of 8 or more guests and are served with a complimentary glass of Cava when dining between 5 th November and 25 th January. A Spanish Christmas Christmas in Spain is all about sharing. Sharing food, sharing stories, sharing gifts, sharing memories. We asked members of the Ibérica family to share with us their stories and traditions of a Christmas unique to them. On Christmas Eve we have one meal and another big Christmas meal the next day. We eat capón, the original way, as a stew and not roasted whole like a turkey. My family always tries to find the best ham and the best seafood (a very important thing in Galicia). My grandmother taught us to peel prawns with a knife and fork, so I now know how to peel them properly. Marcos, Founder Christmas in my house is always centered around the table. We have always given more importance to the starters rather than the main meal. When I was a child, I remember my mother preparing croquetas and my father carving ham. We prefer pork sirloin to the traditional suckling pig or lamb. Pork sirloin with turrón (the almond sweet) sauce is one of my mother s recipes. Luis, Group Sous Chef We eat pasta and meatballs in a soup and rostit de nadal (roasted chicken with pinenuts and raisins). On Christmas Day we celebrate the Caga Tió. We dress a wood log with traditional Catalan clothing, draw a smile on it, cover it with a blanket and the children hit it with a stick until presents fall from it. We ve been doing this in my family since my mother was a little girl. Héctor, Ibérica Marylebone We always have cured meats, cheese and king prawns or langoustines as starters to share. After that my father prepares a shoulder of lamb, which is a Christmas tradition in my family. For dessert, we eat turrón (but not the hard one, the Jijona one that s almost like almond butter) and roscos de vino, which are aniseed pastries with a hole in the middle.
