Wedding Reception Planning Information The staff at the is dedicated to making your reception an unforgettable event. Below is helpful information to ensure its success. Your sales and catering manager will help to guide you through the planning process. Room rental fees are a separate fee. They are based on the banquet room reserved and day of the week. Room rental fee includes: All tables and chairs Standard white or black tablecloths (Dimensions 85x85) Floor length table cloths $18 each; rental with 2 weeks notice White or black napkins China and silverware Dance floor Menu Planning and Guaranteed Guest Count Every bride and groom wants their reception to reflect their personal style; therefore we can work with you to customize a menu if you don t see a menu that reflects what you have in mind. Your menu selection(s) should be received no less than thirty days prior to the date of your reception. No outside food or beverage is permitted (excluding the wedding cake and groom s cake) Food and/or beverage may not be removed from the property. The guaranteed number must be submitted to the Catering Manager seven business days prior to your reception. This number is final and cannot be reduced. Billing will be based on the guaranteed number at time of payment. However, if actual number of guests exceeds guaranteed number, additional charges are applicable. A credit card on file is mandatory (see below). Deposit and Payment Information Your initial deposit amount will be stated in your contract. Amount varies depending on the overall cost estimate of your reception.
Final payment is due with the guaranteed number, seven business days prior to your reception. A signed credit card authorization form with a credit card number for any additional charges is mandatory. If your reception is cancelled, your initial deposit is non-refundable. However, it can be transferred to another date, depending on availability. Packages include Complimentary cake cutting Complimentary use of the hotel for wedding photos Complimentary whirlpool or king junior suite for bride and groom on wedding night. Discounted rates for guest rooms Miscellaneous Charges Parking: Self-parking is available at $1.25 per hour ($7.00 maximum charge). If you would like to sponsor your guests parking, your Catering Manager can assist you to arrange to have parking charged to your account. Overnight guests will be charged $7.00 per day with their guest room. Labor fees: $50.00 per Bartender; $75.00 per Carver or Chef attended station Bar Service All persons must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages. The Georgia State Liquor Commission regulates the sale and service of alcoholic beverages. As a licensee, we are responsible for the administration of these regulations. It is our policy that liquor, beer and wine from an outside source are strictly prohibited. In the event this happens, the guests may be asked to leave. Our bartenders reserve the right to refuse service if a guest appears intoxicated Security The will not be responsible for any items left in a banquet room. We request that all items be removed at the conclusion of the reception. However, if the host requests items such as floral arrangements, linens be stored for pick up the following day, the hotel is not responsible. Under no circumstances will the hotel store wedding gifts.
