Galatians 6:9 (NIV) Manor Bible Study KidZone/JAM Time 10:00 a.m. 6:30 p.m. 6:30 p.m. Choir Rehearsal Wednesday nights 7:30 p.m. in the worship center. Everyone is welcome to come and sing. June 2016 Income: $10,350.14 Expenses: 10,687.66 Deficit 337.52 Year-to-date: $16,484.71 Doing good. Paul may not be using what we consider proper grammar here, but his message to the Galatians is clear: keep on working hard. I m excited at some of the possibilities we have going on at FBC. Our women s ministry is re-organizing. are plans in the works for women s ministry activities, Bible studies, and opportunities for service. A men s Bible study is in the works, and perhaps more men s activities and opportunities as well. A constitution committee has been appointed to help bring our church current in its administrative work, and the groundwork is being laid to form ministry teams for anticipated growth and discipleship. God is truly at work blessing FBC McGregor. But the encouragement that Paul gives to the Galatians is the same I would give to our congregation as well: keep on working hard. The ministry of a church takes every person doing their part to keep on doing good, so that the harvest may be reaped. If God is nudging you to a particular area of ministry or service within the church, don t try to push the Spirit away. Instead, listen to him and tune in to what it is he has for you. Then come and visit with me and let me know how God is leading you. It is a tremendous time of history in our church. I can t wait to see where the Spirit is leading us! Blessings, Bro. Terry

This is always the coolest fellowship we have every year and makes the kids feel a bit better about starting school the next day. Toppings of any kind are always welcome plus anything else that sounds good with ice cream. After an hour or so of partaking in this yummy goodness, a group of prayer warriors will head on over to the McGregor school campuses to pray for the start of the new school year. Ask neighbors and friends to come along. It s always a great time of fellowship and prayer. Please join us!

No-Bake Peanut Butter Pie purewow.com Crust 10 whole graham crackers 3 tablespoons sugar 4 tablespoons butter, melted Filling and Topping 2 cups heavy cream ⅓ cup sugar 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 1¼ cups chunky peanut butter Pinch of cinnamon 1 cup honey-roasted peanuts, roughly chopped Make the crust: In the bowl of a food processor, pulse the graham crackers until they form fine crumbs. Transfer the crumbs (you should have about 2 cups) to a bowl and add the sugar and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are moistened. Press the graham-cracker mixture into a pie plate to form a crust, bringing it up the sides and onto the edge of the plate. Press firmly to ensure the crust is even. Transfer to the freezer for 30 minutes. Make the filling: In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, whip the heavy cream until foamy. Gradually add the sugar and vanilla, and continue whipping to medium peaks. Remove half the whipped cream and reserve for topping the pie. Add the peanut butter and cinnamon to the remaining whipped cream in the bowl of the mixer, and beat until well combined. Pour the peanut-butter cream into the frozen piecrust and smooth with a spatula. Top the peanut-butter cream with the reserved whipped cream and garnish with the peanuts. Transfer the pie to the freezer and freeze until solid enough to slice, at least 2 hours or up to overnight. To make serving easier, let the pie sit out for 10 minutes at room temperature before slicing.
