If you want to know of any late cancellations on an up and coming trip within the next two week, then phone: 0345 544 0850 select enquiries (1). We have limited space on trips so please only book the ones you really want. Thank you. A full refund on a ticket will be given in the event of you needing to cancel, provided you have taken out the insurance offered at the time of booking. Refunds are always by way of a voucher. If you receive a waiting list ticket there is a very good chance that you will be offered a place. You must first register that you want to remain on the list by phoning the office. We will then phone you if a place becomes available. You can register as a Standby where we will phone you should a seat become available even if you have not booked that, or any trips. We reserve the right to change the published destination without prior notification should we be unable to visit on the day shown for any reason. Our Scheduled Shopping Bus Service is 8.00. Woodley the 2nd Tuesday of February, May, August and November. Camberley the 2nd Tuesday of March, June, September and December. Farnborough the 4th Tuesday every month. We need Your Help in the following ways please. 1) As a passenger assistant - If you have enjoyed travelling with us, why not ask one of your neighbours, friends or family if they would like to help on a trip. This would be by supporting someone or pushing their wheelchair on a day out or shopping trip. Training can be given. 2) With a bequest in your Will - much needed funds would ensure that Keep Mobile can continue to provide its valuable services in the years to come so that others enjoy the freedom that you have. 3) As a fundraiser - with the Friends of Keep Mobile. This is a small group of members and/or their carers who get involved in raising funds in many different ways e.g. manning a stall at fêtes. carnivals, running coffee mornings or street collections, all of which are invaluable. We would be very grateful for any help you, your friends and relatives can offer.

Just give us a call, and we will see what we can arrange Monday 3rd Newbury Town Centre A market town in West Berkshire which has all the high street shops. Shopping is largely pedestrianised, both the main street and an undercover Shopping Centre. There is a wealth of eating places, catering for all tastes and pockets. Wednesday 5th September Fare 13 Pickup from 9am Weston Super Mare A long, level prom laid with many flower gardens overlooking the extensive sands, the new pier and the town centre all being easily accessible makes this a lovely place to visit. This is a long day. Your chance to win a 15 voucher to use on the Day Excursions programme If you look vary carefully you will find that there is a deliberate mistake. Fare 31 Pickup from 8.30am Saturday 8th Watercress Line Railway To Alresford in Hampshire and travel the Mid Hants railway on a train from the past, it may even be a steam locomotive. We will travel to Alton and then back to Ropley where we will stop for two hours to enjoy the warm sunny day. Bring your own picnic and eat on the train or when we stop at Ropley (weather permitting). Cost includes transport and train trip. Fare 23 Pickup from 8.30am

September Wednesday 12th BBC Bristol Come and be amazed at BBC Bristol the regional television centre for the West of England. You'll hear how television and radio programmes are made, have the chance to visit the interactive studio where you can have a go at presenting the news and weather, and star in your own radio drama, complete with sound effects. Your well-informed and entertaining guide will give you an insight into the many programmes produced here, such as Antiques Roadshow, Countryfile, The Food Programme and Flog It! as well as the Natural History Unit's programmes such as Springwatch. After your tour there is time to have a lunch in the local area outside the BBC. Be warned this is a long day! Cost includes transport and tour. Monday 10th Woking Town Centre Woking has a modern shopping centre called the Peacocks and an older shopping area, Wolsey Place. The main area for food is in the Peacocks which contains restaurants serving a number of different foods. There is a Shopmobility scheme, phone 01483 776612 to book a scooter. Fare 14 Pickup from 9am Saturday 15th Fare 32 Pickup from 8am London Olympic Village Orbit The ArcelorMittal Orbit is made from 600 pre-fabricated star-like nodes. These were precision-built by a team of 100 staff in Bolton, Lancashire and assembled on site by four men and a crane. This created the superstructure of the sculpture before the lifts and interior viewing platforms were added. There are four uses for steel in the ArcelorMittal Orbit; the red super-structure, the spiral stairs, the Corten steel of the canopy and the highly polished steel mirrors in the upper viewing platform, designed by Sir Anish Kapoor. 35,000 bolts were used in the construction and it would take 954 steel drinks cans stacked on top of each other to reach the top of the sculpture. Cost is for travel and entrance to the Orbit only. The ride is extra should you want to travel on it. Fare 38 Pickup from 9am Merry Christmas. December Monday 3rd Basingstoke Festival Place Festival Place is situated in the heart of Basingstoke Town Centre and is home to 165 shops, 28 restaurants, bars and cafés. It has all the major shops and many others. There is a Shopmobility scheme, phone 01256 476066 direct to book your ride. Fare 14 Pickup from 9.00 Wednesday 5th Monday 17th Our day starts with a drive to the New Forest and after, hopefully seeing some of the ponies and cattle on the way, we will reach the village of Burley and the Old Station at Holmsley for lunch. After lunch, weather permitting and if there is time, we will stop in the village before returning home. Fare 16 Pickup from 8.30am Wednesday 19th Millets Farm - Wokingham Members Fare 13 Pickup from 9.30am Fare 19 Pickup from 9am Monday 10th Christmas Lunch Our traditional Christmas lunch including a sherry, roast turkey, roast potatoes, vegetables and trimmings. Followed by mince pies and custard or cream, finishing with a lovely cup of tea or coffee. Time to catch up with your friends and others who enjoy the trips throughout the year. Cost is for transport and lunch. Wednesday 12th Fare 22 Pickup from 10am Millets Farm - Bracknell Members One of your favourites - Millets, near Abingdon, has a very good farm shop with fresh and frozen fruit and veg, bakers, fish mongers and butchers. There's also a garden centre and restaurant for snacks or a full meal. This day is for Wokingham Borough residents only. Fare 19 Pub Lunch The Twesledown An old favourite but with a facelift. The pub has undergone a total refurbishment and has a new menu. There is now a ramped access straight into the eating area and a new accessible toilet. One of your favourites - Millets, near Abingdon, has a very good farm shop with fresh and frozen fruit and veg, bakers, fish mongers and butchers. There's also a garden centre and restaurant for snacks or a full meal. This day is for Wokingham Borough residents only. September Old Station New Forest Pickup from 9am Monday 24th Longacres Garden Centre Longacres Garden Centre in Bagshot started life as a small nursery. Now it is one of the largest independent garden centres in the South East. The café serves good food at low prices. They tend to concentrate on snack meals such as paninis, sandwiches, etc. rather than going for the more complicated main meal specials. Fare 12 Wednesday 26th Pickup from 9.30am Avenue Garden Centre This is an independent garden centre in Hampshire next to Lasham Airfield. There is a large plant area, a shop offering a good selection of gardening products, furniture, BBQs, gifts and food. There is a pet centre, plus an aquatics department. The Avenue restaurant has a large dining area, and the menu provides fresh affordable food throughout the day. Fare 13 Pickup from 8.30am

October Monday 1st Haskins Garden Centre Tuesday 27th Salisbury Christmas Market November Haskins has been helping gardens all over the south of England to bloom since 1882. This one is near Southampton and is still a thriving family owned business, visiting a Haskins Garden Centre is more than just a shopping trip. There is also a Hobbycraft store next door. Now established as an annual event, the Salisbury Christmas Market will be returning to the Guildhall Square in November. The Market this year will be bigger and better than ever with over 100 chalets and a full programme of events and entertainment. Fare 18 Pickup from 8.30am Wednesday 3rd Pub Lunch - The Travellers Friend Fare 24 Pickup from 8.30am The Travellers Friend of West Berkshire is right out in the sticks, so a little ride out first but you won't be disappointed! The food menu includes snacks as well as a three-course menu with vegetarian options. Monday 8th Fare 13 Pickup from 10am Pub Lunch - Weathervane Today we are visiting the Weather Vane in Bracknell which is a Brewers Fayre pub restaurant you'll find pub food as it should be with their every day great value menu. Fare 20 Pickup from 8.30am Wednesday 28th Springtime Garden Centre Our annual trip to Springtime means its getting near to Christmas. The Garden Centre turns into a storage centre for Father Christmas s years work of making toys for all the good children. We also have an inspired collection of gifts including an impressive candle selection. A good day to get those special presents and have a day out. Fare 13 Pickup from 9am Wednesday 10th Redfields Garden Centre This Garden Centre is at Church Cookham, just past Fleet in Hampshire. As well as the plant life and gardening there is a really good restaurant. You should have had the new Day Excursions Programme by now. If you haven't, please let us know on 0345 544 0850. November Wednesday 14th Cheltenham Town Centre Monday 15th Henry Street Garden Centre October Cheltenham, also known as Cheltenham Spa, is a large spa town in Gloucestershire, located on the edge of the Cotswolds. The town was awarded a market charter in 1226, and has been a health and holiday resort since the discovery of mineral springs there in 1716. Horse racing began in Cheltenham in 1815, and has become a major national attraction. In Arborfield, this garden centre is well known for its roses. There is also a very good cafe with a varied menu. Fare 20 Pickup from 8.30am Fare 14 Pickup from 9.30am Monday 19th Jack s Fish and Chips A trip to our favourite fish and chip restaurant in Bagshot. You will enjoy delicious fish and chips at a very reasonable price with friendly staff. This is the place to be for a real good fish meal. See the menu at the resturant. Wednesday 17th Uxbridge Town Centre Home of the prestigious Brunel University, the town of Uxbridge lies at the end of the underground lines. The retail district of the mainly pedestrianised town centre offers two major shopping centres, The Chimes for fashion and The Mall for those looking for a more traditional shopping experience. There is a Shopmobility scheme, phone 01895 271510. Fare 11 Pickup from 9.30am Fare 20 Pickup from 9am Wednesday 21st Badshot Lea Garden Centre This centre has a large plant area with a selection of shrubs, trees and garden plants. The garden centre shop offers a good selection of gardening products, furniture, BBQs, gifts and food. There is a pet centre, plus an aquatics department. The Seasons Restaurant has a large dining area, and the menu provides fresh food throughout the day. Fare 14 Pickup from 9.30am Monday 22nd Pub Lunch - Wellington Arms Large spacious lounge bar and generous gardens which benefit from a large decked area ramped for wheelchair access surrounding a tall willow tree. The Welly in Sandhurst prides itself on offering new and old customers alike a warm friendly atmosphere and their highly trained staff are ready to serve you great drinks and fine food. October Wednesday 24th Oliver s Fish and Chips This lovely fish and chip restaurant has a flat access suitable for all, with an excellent menu that should be suitable for all tastes. Full table service is provided. It also has a bar and some different fish meals. Monday 5th Mystery Trip - Wokingham No details, it's a mystery. We will be stopping for lunch that's all we can say. This day is for those of you living in the Wokingham Borough. November Fare 16 Pickup from 9.30am Monday 29th Banbury Town Centre A nursery rhyme, Ride a Cock Horse, has made Banbury one of the best-known towns in England. It has been suggested that the Fine Lady of the nursery rhyme may have been Lady Godiva or Elizabeth I. More likely it was a local girl who rode in a May Day procession. Wednesday 7th Fare 18 Pickup from 9am Mystery Trip - Bracknell No details, it's a mystery. We will be stopping for lunch that's all we can say. This day is for those of you living in the Bracknell Borough. Fare 23 Pickup from 9am Wednesday 31st The Kitchen (Reading College) The Kitchen provides catering students with the opportunity to prepare you a meal of their best efforts. Working alongside the kitchen team, our hospitality students, including waiters, reception and management, gain experience of providing a high level of customer service to guests in the restaurant. Fare 18 Pickup from 9am Monday 12th Pub Lunch - White Lion Yately The White Lion in Yateley is situated on the old coaching road hub between Reading and London and right in the heart of the village, a popular stop for lunch. Having existed for over 150 years, the White Lion was licensed in 1856 by Mr James Rogers - look out for his tankard in the pub restaurant to this day.
