Our baked beans are great served on toast or a baked potato and are also delicious added to stews, curries, casseroles or even a pie. SERVING: Our baked beans are fully cooked and ready to be served. The can also be heated gently in a 2-3 minutes. Also known as Navy beans, they are small, oval, plump and creamy-white with a mild flavour and smooth, buttery texture. Haricot beans are widely used in the cooking of countries such as France, Spain, Portugal and South America. With little flavour of their own, they absorb other aromas and flavours easily, which makes them popular beans to use in bean salads, vegetable soups, slow-cooked dishes such as cassoulet or bean purées. Black-eyed beans are small, creamyflavoured beans with a black 'scar' where they were joined to the pod. They are much used in American and African cooking. They are an excellent addition to soups and salads, or eaten with greens, tice, grain, and vegetables. SERVING: Our black eye peas are fully cooked and are ready to be served.
