Opened in 1972, the Grizzly was the third course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Since that time it is the only course in the U.S. to host all three tours as well as the L.P.G.A. Duramed Classic. Champions include Jack himself, as well as Ben Crenshaw, Nancy Lopez and Jan Stephenson. Many other golf icons have played here including Arnold Palmer, President Ford, Cincinnati s own Bob Hope and Lee Trevino, who famously aced the 12th hole during the Kroger Classic.
