National Space Day The First Friday of May (May 1st, 2015) During our Special Day Trip to Space celebration, we will transport our customer to outer space where they will be treated with the homestyle cooking of the local aliens. This theme is appropriate for the Utah Valley Medical Center because in our cafeteria we serve a wide demographic of people from children visiting grandparents in the hospital to employees that work in the dishroom. Anyone visiting our cafeteria can enjoy a space themed day especially if we have delicious food! We have chosen entrees that, although they all follow our theme, are diverse enough to satisfy many different people. Also, our kitchen employees will enjoy the opportunity to dress up and act like aliens!
