Chardonnay 2012 If Cabernet Sauvignon is the king of red grapes, Chardonnay is the queen of whites. This Renowned Chardonnay is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes hand harvested from the State of Michigan. A wonderful Chardonnay showing an intense stone fruit nose with exceptional tropical fruit flavors. Late Harvest Riesling 2012 Riesling is an aromatic white grape variety known for its high acidity and flowery aromas that tend to thrive in cooler wine growing regions. It is the main wine grape of Germany but has significant plantings throughout the new and old world wine regions. Riesling is used to make a wide range of wines from dry to mildly sweet to sweet and is sometimes used in sparkling wines. This sweet and fruity wine is made in a true Germanic Fashion. A long slow fermentation promotes superb floral aromas. 100% hand harvested Michigan Riesling makes up this Gold Medal winning wine. Wonderful aromas and flavors of tangerines and limes, with wonderfully balanced sweetness. White Ibis N.V. Vidal Blanc is a French-American hybrid grape variety. It is quite toughskinned and disease resistant. Winter hardy but requires a long growing season. Vidal Blanc is a popular grape here in New England as well as upstate New York and Ontario. Vignoles or Ravat 51 is a French- American hybrid grape. It is somewhat winter hardy and has some similarities to Riesling. Crisp, light and fruity with a refreshing finish, this wine is blended to perfection. Aromas of ripe apples and sweet pears with a soft luxurious finish. Pinot Gris 2012 Pinot Grigio is a white wine grape that most often yields a soft, low acidic wine that may be slightly aromatic. Pinot Grigio is the Italian synonym for the grape also commonly known as Pinot Gris, a noble variety that has origins in Alsace, France. In America, the synonyms, Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris, are both fairly prevalent. Pinot is old French for pine and is possibly a reference to the cluster s somewhat pinecone-like shape. Gris means grey in French, and refers to the fruit s sometime blue-grey color, though the fruit as well as the wine it makes can vary in color. This Pinot Gris is made from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes hand harvested in the state of Michigan. Complex aromas of lime, lemons, and ripe melons. Dry with distinct mineral citrus on the palate.
