Both the full size 40 type as well as the smaller 35 type mixers are made with solid brass bodies and feature smooth ceramic disc valve cartridges. Australian Build Quality Swirl is built in Australia. Careful hand assembly complements the time proven design and quality parts so that the final product is exceptionally durable and well finished. It is also good to know that, should you need service in the future, every part and assembly for Swirl is held in stock at our factory 5 + 10 Year warranty Swirl is covered by Faucet Strommen s exceptional 5 + 10 year warranty. Smooth & Durable Ceramic Disc Valve Swirl uses a premium ceramic disc valve cartridge for precise and smooth operation. The high grade of lubrication and ceramic means this cartridge will give many years of trouble free operation. On the 40 type models an anti scald adjustment in the valve makes it easy to limit the left rotation of the handle and thus the proportion of hot water flowing through the valve. Brass Dress Rings Incorporate Seal Beautiful solid brass dress rings at the base of hob mixers incorporate a rubber o-ring that seals against the bench top or sink providing a seal against splash water penetrating the cupboard. The mount system on Swirl mixers uses a strong stainless steel mount rod for strength and corrosion resistance. Quality Finishes Faucet Strommen products have a superior chrome finish thanks to a thick nickle base layer. A tough gloss white or almond finish is available on the S40 range (excluding 31971). (.11) Chrome (.12) Chrome/Gold Ceramic Diverter The new Swirl diverter shower mixer uses a ceramic disc diverter mechanism that rotates smoothly through ½ turn making it simple to switch between shower and bath functions. This unique system offers better control than spring operated versions and works even in low pressure applications. Premium Seals & Grease The action of Swirl swivel spouts is thanks to a specially designed lip seal unique to Faucet Strommen. This seal provides excellent sealing properties with minimal binding.
