a little bit about us Little Creatures Brewery is set inside a converted boat shed (which once upon a time was a crocodile farm), on Fishing Boat Harbour in Fremantle. It was born out of the love of great beer shared by a few good mates. We wanted to invite people into the brewing process, so we placed our bar right in the middle of the action. That s why you ll see brewers racing around, and smell the amazing hops and malts that go into making our beer while you enjoy a pizza and a pint. We pour our beer straight from the conditioning tanks. It doesn t get much fresher than this! DID YOU KNOW that the name Little Creatures comes from the yeast in the beer it s how those little live cultures are affectionately known in the brewing industry!

the brewhouse Tucked inside the brewery is our Brewhouse cellar door. Come here to try samples of all our tasty products, brewed right before your eyes and served by a very knowledgeable team of beer fanatics. While here you might want to jump on a guided tour of the brewery, where you will learn all about beer, brewing and the history of Little Creatures Brewery. We sell all of our products for both takeaway and consumption on premise and have a full-food menu available at all times. Feel free to have a pint and a bite to eat, browse our shop for a little memento of your visit or just have a chat to the staff about all things beer and brewing. We also hire out bikes for the day at no charge and have a dog-friendly beer garden, so your four legged friend can be a little creature too! Tours of the brewery are held every day at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, starting in the Brewhouse with a talk about the ingredients that make up beer, then venturing all around the site, explaining the history of Little Creatures and the process of turning those ingredients in to beer. The tour finishes back in the Brewhouse where your tour guide will take you through a full tasting of all our different beers and our cider too! It s easy to join, just come in a little bit before a tour is due to start and ask staff member to sign you up. Tours are $12 per adult. If you have little ones, they can come along too, free of charge. If you have a larger group between 10 to 20 and would like to do a tour, we can arrange for a private tour and tasting at the same rate of $12 per person. The whole experience goes for about an hour and includes a full tasting at the end of the tour. These can be arranged at 10am, 11am, 4pm and 5pm daily.. the great hall During the week the brewery is pretty relaxed, but once the weekend hits, it turns into a buzzing carnival of beer, food and madness! We have an open door policy at the Great Hall, so everyone is welcome to walk in any time without a booking and just hang out. It s good to remember that our biggest tables seat 16 people, so if your posse is bigger than that, then it might be tricky to find you a spot on a busy day. On VERY busy days we host tables at the venue to help you find a spot. See the friendly creatures at the hosting desk to organize seating for you, and grab yourself a beer at the bar while you wait. OPENING HOURS FOR THE GREAT HALL: Monday to Friday: 10am - late Saturday & Sunday: Brunch 9am -11.00am Lunch 11:30am - late On Monday through to Thursday we offer function bookings at the Great Hall. These bookings are pre-booked and prepaid, with a set grazing menu of $45 per person. the deck The Deck is nestled between the Great Hall and Creatures Nextdoor and has the world s best backdrop (although we might be biased) the amazing view of the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour and the Indian Ocean. The Deck has its own inside bar area, a small courtyard and a large enclosed marquee, which means the show will go on regardless of the weather! It is furnished with sweet retro couches, pews and soft furnishing, in the true Little Creatures relaxed style. An eclectic range of funky vases and glassware filled with fresh flowers makes The Deck something special. Once the sun has gone down we fill The Deck with church candles and tea lights. creatures nextdoor Located just around the corner from the brewery, Creatures Nextdoor is a cosy, relaxed lounge with a little bit of spunk. It boasts some serious views of the Fishing Boat Harbour a perfect location for sunsets. Our menu is tapas style and is accompanied with Little Creatures beers, ciders and a great selection of Australian wines. A FEW LITTLE DETAILS Opening Hours: Monday to Sunday 12pm til late. On Monday through to Sunday we offer function bookings at Creatures Nextdoor. These bookings are pre-booked and prepaid, with a set menu of $28 per person. Capacity: Available: 15-40 guests Monday Thursday: 12noon 7pm Friday / Saturday: 12noon 6pm Sunday: 12 noon OR 1pm Please note that we require a start time and a finishing time, with no function running longer than 5 hours within the times specified... other than Sundays where the function must commence at 12pm or 1pm. the red room The Red Room at Creatures Nextdoor is a fun carnival like space creating a warm Spiegel tent feel. The Red Room has its own bar area and stage which hosts the best cocktail parties, music gigs, preforming arts as well as meetings and conferences. a little heads up We love having new and old friends visit us at Little Creatures, and we aim to make your experience with us a fun one, ensuring all your needs are met and all aspects regarding your health and safety are adhered to. This document includes a set of Terms and Conditions that must be read and signed before we proceed with any bookings. Below we ve highlighted a couple of important points that are handy to know in the initial stages of planning your function. We ve also included a map of our venue to help with the layout of our Fremantle Brewery. PAYING FOR YOUR FUNCTION To secure your function date we require a signed copy of the terms and conditions, confirmed numbers and menu selection. We will then e-mail you an invoice. We require payment within 72hrs of the invoice being issued. All outstanding amounts including beverages must be finalized on conclusion of the function by cash or credit card. SECURITY FOR YOUR FUNCTION Required for all functions with 100+ guests 1 guard required for every 50 guests minimum of 4 hours per security guard $50p/hour, per security guard Little Creatures will organise Security on your behalf 18th & 21st Birthday Functions require a bond and Security guard (s). terms & condititions... CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENT We do not hold tentative bookings. A function booking is secure and confirmed once we have received the deposit payment. Deposits are room hire fees, or if not applicable, minimum spend on food. We require full payment of the deposit within seventy two (72) hours of the invoice being sent. Please note we do not accept Diners Club or American Express card. Electronic bank transfer details can be found on the invoice. All invoices will be sent two (2) weeks in advance. Deposits are non-refundable. Bonds for 18th and 21st birthday parties will be refunded on conclusion of the event if no damage has been incurred to any part of the venue. Little Creatures can assist with audio visual requirements, however any additional equipment hire is at the cost of the client and paid direct to the contractor. All incidentals (outstanding beverages, last minute changes to numbers, equipment hire etc ) are to be settled on the night by cash or credit card (we do not accept AMEX or Diners). The final account and any outstanding charges will be presented to you or a representative of your choice on the night. If you will not be settling the account directly we ask that you introduce the function supervisor to the person responsible for settling the account on the night. FINAL DETAILS Final numbers, menu and wine list selections are required fourteen (14) days prior to your function. All other event details including timings, room set up, equipment and other food/beverage requirements should also be forwarded to Little Creatures no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event. Minor changes may be able to be accommodated however a significant drop in numbers will be charged. Function details are included in the Event Order (EO). The EO is available upon request at any time. Should you have any changes prior to the event then please contact the functions department. All non-exclusive function bookings are required to arrive at the time of reservation due to operational constraints with delivering the best experience. DAMAGE/INSURANCE. Little Creatures Brewing does not accept responsibility for damage to, or loss of any client s property left on the premises prior to, during or after a function. The event organiser is liable for any damage sustained to the venue s property by themselves or their guests during the course of the event. This includes all equipment hired. RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL To ensure everybody is enjoying their time at Little Creatures, we adhere strictly to the Responsible Service of Alcohol laws. As such we reserve the right to refuse entry or service of alcohol to any patron that is under-age, intoxicated or behaving in an anti-social manner.
