Minutes serves 0 / cup Kosher for Passover Peanut Butter Bag KP Chocolate Chips Bag KP Marshmallows (minis) Bag KP Butterscotch Chips Bag (-oz) Chopped nuts In a medium glass bowl, put peanut butter and both bags of chips. Microwave - minutes, until mixture is creamy. Stir to mix. Let cool minutes. Add marshmallows and nuts or raisins. Mix well. 5 Spoon mixture into a greased 9X glass pan. 6 Cool in refrigerator for an hour. Cut into squares. helpful notes Can be made up to a week ahead.
Passover Chocolate Chip Mandel Bread from Elaine Levine 0 Min. 0 Minutes Makes 5-0 pieces eggs cup Sugar / cup oil / package Chocolate Chips or raisins or nuts tsp Vanilla / cup Cake Meal / cup Potato starch Preheat oven to 50 degrees. Beat the eggs and sugar together in a mixer. Gradually add in oil, vanilla, cake meal, potato starch and chocolate chips. Let batter stand 5 minutes. With lots of oil on your hands, divide the batter into rolls and place on a greased cookie sheet. 5 Bake for 0 minutes. 6 While still hot, slice bread width wise and place back in oven for another 5-0 minutes. 7 Let cool on wire rack. Beacon Hill Cookies Passover cookies started by my mom, JoAnn Hollub, submitted by Lynda Hirsekorn. 5 Min. 0 Minutes Makes 0 cookies egg whites / cup sugar / package Chocolate Chips (6 oz) Dash of Salt / tsp Vinegar / cup Coconut / cup Chopped Nuts Melt the package of chocolate chips (6 oz.) over hot water. Set aside Add dash of salt to egg whites and beat until foamy. Gradually add / cup sugar, mixing until blended. Then beat until whites form stiff peaks. Beat in / tsp. vinegar and / tsp. vanilla. Fold in / cup coconut, / cup chopped walnuts and the melted chocolate. 5 Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 50 degrees for 0 minutes. 6 Makes about 0 cookies. 7 Let cool on wire rack. Store in airtight Container 5
Flourless Chocolate Cake Parve, rich chocolate, gluten free cake by Gloria Sher 5 Min. 5 Minutes Serves 5 ounces fine-quality bittersweet chocolate stick (/ cup) unsalted butter large eggs / cup unsweetened cocoa powder plus additional for sprinkling / cup sugar Chop chocolate into small pieces. In a double boiler or metal bowl set over a saucepan of barely simmering water, melt chocolate with butter, stirring, until smooth. Remove top of double boiler or bowl from heat and whisk sugar into chocolate mixture. Add eggs and whisk well. Sift / cup cocoa powder over chocolate mixture and whisk until just combined. 5 Pour batter into pan and bake in middle of oven 5 minutes, or until top has formed a thin crust. 6 7 Cool cake in pan on a rack 5 minutes and invert onto a serving plate. Cheese Blintz Souffle Side Dish from Ann Holmes 0 Min. 50 Minutes Serves 6 frozen Cheese Blintzes stick (/ cup) Melted butter / cup sugar large eggs -/ cup Sour Cream / t salt t Vanilla Cinnamon to taste Mix all the ingredients from butter on down together. Line all the frozen blinzes in a 9 X pan. Cover blintzes with the mixture. Cook at 50 for 5-60 minutes. 8
Passover Crustless Quiche Main Dish from Gloria Sher Min. 55 Minutes Servings: 6 oz cottage cheese 6 eggs /8 lb melted butter (/ stick) 8 oz grated cheddar cheese 0 oz box chopped spinach or broccoli (thawed & moisture pressed out) 5 Tbsp matzo cake meal (6 Tbsp flour for Chometz) Mix eggs & cottage cheese. Add melted butter & grated cheese. Mix well then add cake meal and broccoli or spinach. Bake in greased 9 x pan, 55-60 min at 50. 9
Macaroni & Cheese for Pesach Easy side dish submitted by Jessica Rednick-Kaseff 5 Min. 55 Minutes Serves 7 Large Eggs -/ cups Farfel or 6 matzos, broken into small pieces cup milk t salt / t ground white pepper 8 oz. cheddar cheese Cut into pieces pint sour cream oz ( stick) butter Cut into 6 pieces Preheat oven to 50. In a medium bowl lightly beat of the eggs and mix in the farfel or broken matzos. In a -cup measure or blender, beat the remaining egg with the milk, salt, and pepper. Grease a -qt. rectangular casserole. Place half of the farfel mixture and half of the cheese in the casserole. Add half of the sour cream, distributing in dollops evenly on the surface, then half of the butter pieces. Make a second layer in the same fashion. Pour the milk mixture on top. Cover the casserole and bake for 0 min. Uncover and bake 0-5 min. longer to brown the top. Cut into squares and serve. 0
Potato and Carrot Kugel Parve side dish. Use a food processor to expedite preparation. Submitted by Gloria Sher. 0 Min. 60 Minutes Serves 5 lb. peeled potatoes Finely grated Onion Finely chopped peeled carrots Finely grated eggs beaten 6 Tbsp Matzo Meal Tbsp Chopped Parsley Salt & Pepper to taste Paprika Preheat oven to 75. In a large bowl, blend potatoes, onion, & carrots. Stir in eggs. Add in matzo meal, salt, pepper & parsley. Pour in greased 9 X pan, filling to top. It will shrink. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake hour or until browned.
Chicken with Cranberry Sauce Can be made and refrigerated overnight before baking. Submitted by Gloria Sher. 0 Min. 60 Minutes Serves 5 0 chicken ( / to lb.) cut up or boneless fillets (remove skin) (6 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce env. onion soup mix (8 oz.) bottle any red or orange salad dressing Mix whole cranberry sauce, soup mix and salad dressing together in bowl. Arrange chicken pieces in single layer in dish or pan and pour sauce over. Cover with foil refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 50 degrees hour for bone in or until chicken is done. 5 Stir glaze and spoon over chicken once or twice during baking.
