ADD Positivity H&C News Summer Supper Charity Club
The ADD Positivity H&C News Charity Summer Supper Club Ascot, Saturday 11th June 2016 Inspired by fund raising for a South African charity supporting disadvantaged children in South Africa, which was ongoing throughout 2015 in the offices of BEcause XM (that we are fortunate enough to share) we decided to try and do a bit ourselves. Given the industry that we work in a party seemed the natural choice, so here we all are. I must say that I have been overwhelmed by all of the support we have received across our industry which has made this evening possible. Thanks to all and full details are in the pages ahead. The charity that we are raising money for is the Thokozani Family and here s what they do in their own words Thokozani is a safe place for at-risk children in Khayelisha Township. The owners, Mhlangabezi Masizana and Lindelwa Masizana, take kids from the streets, expose them to their talents and educate them through multiple programs. Thokozani focuses on inspiring children to get to know themselves inside and out. We are not just another project. We are a family brought together under harsh circumstances trying to educate our children. We will hear more about the Thokozani Family later from our host Sharon Richey who has very generously opened her house up for us this evening to enable this party to take place. Thank you Sharon. So let s all enjoy an evening of fine food, wine and entertainment and raise lots of money for the Thokozani Family. Thanks for your support Denis Sheehan Publisher, Hospitality & Catering News
