Welcome, SILENT & LIVE AUCTION Sat. March 10 Advance Tickets $15 per person ($18.00 at the door) Buffet & Refreshments Included Doors Open at 5:30 after Mass It s Laetare Sunday weekend, laetare meaning rejoice. This third weekend of lent expresses hope and joy in the midst or our Lenten fasting. It is time to make merry before we enter into the somber days of the Passiontide, a perfect time for our 21 st Annual Prince of Peace Parish Auction. Through your generous participation last year the auction generated $28,957.60. WOW! Thank you!! This year s auction promises to be even more exciting. As you look through your booklet drool. Mark the pages of your favorites from the many wonderful items, beautiful crafts, and unique gift ideas provided by many creative people and generous businesses, to which we are eternally grateful. Aside of raising monies for essential projects, auction night is about community, enjoying each other s company and partaking of some good food. So, open your wallet, bring out your credit card, your checkbook, along with your strongest bidding voice and enjoy an evening of fun and festivity at the Prince Peace Parish Auction. Join us and have a great time, this event cannot be a success without you. Help us to help God do his work. Thank you in advance for attending this great night of fun and for making it a success for all of us. Blessings! Gratefully, Fr V 3 Bid Early! Bid Often! Bid High!

Pie, Torte, and Cheesecake Auction Immediately after each silent auction room closing, come to the Fellowship Hall as we auction off 4-5 pies, tortes, or cheesecakes that some of our best bakers in the parish have prepared. We will start each dessert at $10 and keep going up in live auction format in two dollar increments until we have a winner. You will then be given your dessert right away. If your dessert needs refrigeration, just ask our friendly crew in the kitchen to put it in the cooler until you are ready to leave. $250 Scrip Shopping Spree The winner will get to choose where to spend their $250 winnings from over 100 area businesses in our Parish Scrip Program. Only 60 tickets will be sold. Ticket cost: $10 each. 50/50 Cash Raffle Proceeds split evenly between winner and Prince of Peace. Ticket cost: 1 for $1, 15 for $10, or 35 for $20. Must be present to win. The Hall of Fame - Gift Certificate Packages Come view the exceptional Gift Certificate Packages located in the hallway. Signs reveal exactly which certificates are in each of the themed packages and what their values are. Enjoy, but be careful - they ll go fast! SEE 500 LISTING IN BOOKLET FOR THESE GREAT PACKAGES What is Buy It Now? For a select group of items, you can BUY IT NOW for the price listed at the bottom of the bidder sheet. This way you won t risk losing the item by being outbid. If you find an item with a Buy It Now section at the bottom of the bidder sheet and wish to purchase that item immediately for the price indicated, simply enter your bidder number and contact an auction volunteer who will take the sheet to the checkout. You will receive the item after checking out. 4
