JDRF Greater Missouri & Southern Illinois Chapter is hosting its annual Hope Gala at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14th at Ballpark Village. This fabulous event features live entertainment and raises essential funds to further research to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes (T1D). The mission of JDRF is to progressively reduce the impact of T1D on people s lives until we achieve a world without the disease. JDRF s funding and leadership have led to most major scientific breakthroughs in T1D research to date. Based on financial efficiency, Forbes rated JDRF as one of the top five all-star charities worthy of your support. Monumental advances continue to be made that will lead us to a cure, but there is still work to be done.
