Before I bought my Twin Grill Ziggy I had a cheap 4 burner BBQ (that's all I could afford at the time), it did the job, but ended up being too big for my veranda. I priced other BBQ's elsewhere, so I knew what I wanted. At least I thought I did. Decided to go to BBQS Galore @ Coffs Harbour & look at the Ziggy. Brendan who served me was absolutely fabulous & I bought the Ziggy Bundle there & then, & haven't looked back. It's had an ignition problem, but the guys at the store fixed it for me & then showed me what to do if it happened again. Big thumbs up for the guys @ BBQS Galore Coffs Harbour. I would recommend a Ziggy
kurt h 12/02/2017 not my style have a weber and a ziggy and the paint on the out side of my ziggy is coming off only had it for two years. never had a problem with weber replacing anything but ziggy will not replace my hood because it is my fault. Would like to see a roasting plate similar to the 3 version. Would allow for a decent sized roast as well as using the wire rack for potatoes etc. There is not enough room using the conventional rack with roast as well as the overhead rack. We found the Ziggy 2 ideal size for entertaining small groups. Could not justify going to the larger size. Very easy to clean and is ideal for patio BBQ's. Geoff Rilling 17/09/2015 Everything comes up trumps I bought my Ziggy just prior to Christmas specifically to cook a turkey.i have a Webber Baby Q which is great for portability and smaller stuff but the larger ones seemed a bit bulky to me.anyhow the Turkey came up trumps and since then I have also cooked small barbies using the direct method and other roasts with similar results.once you get used to and trust the different settings ie cooks at lower temps compared to the Webber all is well.very compact and easy to move around.my only criticism is the side tables which are not permanently attached like the Webbers so a bit more fiddly to deploy.overall a great bit of kit. Doug 17/09/2015 No nonsense Purchased my "Ziggy" about 3 months ago and must say probably the best BBQ I have owned. Have no trouble at all maintaining cooking temperatures for roasts etc and find it cooks perfectly. Is easy to clean, except I find the grill a bit of a nuisance with one "horizontal" strut making it a little difficult to easily clean the grill. This is not really a complaint as I am perfectly happy with my "Ziggy" but perhaps a thing the designers could look at in future models.great BBQ! This means a lifetime of doing BBQs and experiencing the evolution of BBQs from the home made Besser Block and hot plate in the 70's, the 2 burner of the 80's, the 4 burner of the 90's and then the hooded BBQ with side burners of the naughties. Then came the mega BBQ stations with sinks, surround stainless steel and sounf and more useless gadgets then one could possible use in month of Sundays. Then finally came common sense with the name that can't be spoken ( starting with the letter W and rhyming with feather). Then came along perfection in the best BBQ I have every cooked with, cleaned, carried and who I now consider a friend for life. The B & Z is awesome. Just ask any Qlder with experience in BBQs. The 'Ziggy' is very well designed with the twin grills and twin burners and the design of the Fire box and Roasting hood makes it very easy to clean. The gas control knobs are well placed on the front of the unit. Have found that the ignition system lights the BBQ every time. Decided to check out Barbeques Galore and when I saw the red 'Ziggy' it was so obvious that the quality and style was so much superior than the other one. So if you're like me and you don't mind investing your hard earned in a quality product then don't hesitate in rolling into BBQ Galore and picking up one of these in Chilli Red, it looks fantastic! It's so powerful, easy and convenient to use and clean. The trolley is sturdy and strong just like the barbeque, no complaints whatsoever! Brilliant product, I look forward to many many summers with my Chilli Red Ziggy Andrew 17/09/2015 Use all the time I've had my Ziegler and Brown for almost a year now and use it 3 or 4 times a week. I have used it for roasts,lasagne, pizza, potatoes au gratin as well as all the usual meats and it is a fantastic little BBQ. The only thing is the grills are not quite as durable as my old weber's. TIP: Buy a roasting trivet and use al foil underneath it like the weber one it makes roasts and pizzas so much easier to cook without drying out the bottom.
Love my new Ziggy I love my new Ziggy. Ive had it about a month now and have cooked roasts, bacon and eggs, meatloaf, veges and pizza. Most often I only use one burner - especially when trying to achieve a 180 degree oven.. I think 2 burners would only be needed when using it open hood for sseveral people. To clean it I simply use the Selleys wipes on the inside and they work perfectly. The plates can easily be lifted and taken inside to wash. Coming from a 12 month old Bunnings 4 burner, there is no comparison. I did my homework and to me this is the best one on the market. If i had to find a negative, it would be that perhaps it has a little too much power. Deb 17/09/2015 Fantastic We bought one of these fantastic Ziggies after much research on other similar design bbqs and are very happy with the outcome.we have come from using a cheapie 4 burner bbq which cooked the most horrible meals and the plates were soo hard to clean.the Ziggy cooks everything to perfection even thin sliced potato chips with the minimum amount of oil(we bought a half flat plate to cook those on) and the steaks were soo juicy and tender. My husband and i bought this as our 'xmas' gift to ourselves and we intend on taking it camping. We chose to not purchase the bbq cart but use our existing wooden outdoor table instead to put it on and when we go camping we will be placing in on our ute's tailgate to cook.the only thing i can fault is the accesories are a little expensive as you will want to buy ALL the accesories!!!!thankyou to whoever designed this ziggy, You've done a great job!!! charlie 17/09/2015 Impressed from the start Was impressed when they fired it up in store, although had a long wait to get the BBQ, still waiting on the hotplate and cart. Paul 17/09/2015 It is well designed and does everything advertised It is a well designed BBQ which does everything the advertising says. The (minor) problems are 1) The implementation of the drip tray is very flimsy, so it is very easy to accidentally drop it on the base of the BBQ. 2) The implementation of the side shelves is very flimsy. 3) There is NO documentation provided on which way the hotplates and grills go - up or down or why! Also the shop accidentally sold me the LP gas model instead of the LPG model so I had to take it back and have it replaced. Robert Trott. 17/09/2015 5 Stars I used my new cherry red Ziggy for the first time last weekend. I also, moved from a four burner to the more compact twin grill Ziegler and Brown. I easily managed to cook for seven people using the grill and hot plate configuration. The heat output was impressive as was the ease of cleaning. I have no hesitation recommending this BBQ.
My first BBQ, it's fantastic My first BBQ, it's fantastic. Compared to the Webber, it has a temp' gauge, dual burner, better pilot starter thing, and a spare hot plate storage on the BBQ stand (which I'm hoping to buy the stand next month) I bought the chilli red, even though I usually prefer gun metal grey for most things. Looking forward to buying the matching ziggy tools. Watch the clip on youtube if you're not yet sold on this guy. We are wrapped with everything it does, it is compact, efficient and cooks perfectly. We had a 4 burner BBQ before and now we have our Ziggy we wouldn't go back to something like that again. We have cooked on it every night since purchasing it, roasts, steaks, fish pretty much tried everything and so happy with the outcome of all the meals. I have cooked pizza, charge grilled veggies and pork roast all came out perfectly. I would recomend to any one. We uses ours in our carravan while travelling.
